Hella Strong Grip
Love this product. I used it to attach a rear hatch panel on my 2004 Ford Explorer. An automotive repair shop recommended I do the repair myself to save $$ and they specifically recommended this product. It was easy to apply and way less messy than trying to apply some type of liquid glue. It’s held up perfectly - no problems at all.

3M tape is the standard
This stuff dies its job. Prep is key to proper adhesion. If you really want any 2 tape to stick and not release use 3M tape primer 94. Makes the adhesion 3-4 times stronger.

OEM Adhesive
2018 Silverado chrome headlamp trim was coming off, and nothing would hold it in place. The factory uses a thin strip of double back adhesive tape, and over the years of going through carwashes it finally gave out. I tried a few other brands with no luck. The dealership wanted to replace the entire headlamp assembly for $800! I searched online for a cheaper option, and came across an old forum thread from a several years ago that stated the dealership would fix this known issue with 3M molding tape. This explained why there was tape on there already, as it was a factory install. Once received, I prepped the surfaces and installed the tape in a few areas. It has been on for a few months now with no issues. Over a dozen car washes and the chrome piece has not moved.

It just works.
If you bought a product with and adhesive backing that doesn't work well this fixes the problem.Great adhesion. Stays where its put and doesn't come loose. The cost is more than other brands but his works. Most others I've tried don't.

Easy peasy. Well just maybe
Not too bad,but does not hold well over time for automotive trim parts. I used it for a small trunk spiolier and I have to replace the tape every few months.

Great tape
Used it for fixing side panels on my car. After 4 months and car beeing in the FL sun and rain stroms still great hold, they stick and do not show any wear and tear. Very satisfied with the result.
