ACCEL9002C Universal Spark Plug Ceramic 135 Boots Wire Kit,Black

Got these to go on my 65 mustang with a 289 in it. I put on some aftermarket performance headers which are awesome, however the clearance for regular spark plug boots were just not going to work. Found these gems and they fixed my issue, car fired right up and ran great!

I was replacing a set of Ford racing 45°/135° plug boots so I figured these would fit well. Nope. The plug boot is so long I couldn’t get it on to the plug itself before making contact with the headers.

Absolut joke they are junk and so is the company do not buy from them Luckly amazon is a good company that is going to get it resolved for us.

This is the second set of wires I have bought now. I run them on race cars and they are working great. no more burned up rubber boots the ceramic ends line right up on the plug no more trying to line it up to plug it on. the tool they send to put the ends on is not the a great thing to use but it will work if you take your time learn how to use it. I build alot of race motors do alot of plug wires I bought the accel hand hand crimper for doing the ends makes things quick and easy if you are only doing one set just use what they send you.

Good wires and awesome ceramic boots, great for protection from header heat. Downside: very difficult to remove from plugs. The internal plug connectors snap on VERY tight and the ceramic boots are super slick to grip. Do NOT pull the plug wire as the internal plug terminal will break from the wire and at this point, the boot is not repairable. Keep a spare!! I use super-long needle-nose pliers with some silicone hose slipped over the jaws

I have old single pocket coin op gas dryers in a coin laundry. They were originally hot surface ignition converted to spark ignition. The heat from the burner was burning the hi volt ignition wire off every 4-6 months. I installed the ceramic end sparkplug wires in place of the ordinary hi volt wires that came with the conversion kit and the problem stopped. I know this was not the intended use for these wires but it sure solved the problem!

If you have header clearance problem for the spark plugs these are a must. No more burnt boots.

These are extremely fragile. I would honestly say they are one time use only. The first time I replaced my plugs the terminal disconnected from the wire inside the ceramic part and was left stuck to the spark plug.

These did not fit even though they said they would. As well we had to pay for shipping to return them as well as restocking fee. Do not order from this company

Bought these for a 360 Chrysler V8 in a motor home that likes to burn spark plug boots and never got to even use them. Motor home sat because of covid and when I went to start it it wouldn't fire. Thought they weren't seating and took a plug out to make sure they would seat. Got it to seat but when I pulled the plug wire off it pulled the terminal right out with it. Won't waste money on these again
