Bella Flame 12" Green Ceramic Coated Nonstick Fry Pan w/Glass Lid by Amorè, Floral Pattern Texture, Beautiful & Elegant Design, Nano Ceramic Coating (100% PTFE & PFOA Free)

I currently own 3 Bella Flame pans - a 9.5 and 2 12" pans. One pan was given to me for a review and the other two I bought myself. I have a mid-century modern themed kitchen and wanted pans that I could hang up in my kitchen as well as use on a regular basis and these pans have fit the bill for me. The color is spectacular.The ceramic coating was important to me as I didn't want other non-stick coatings getting into my food and I just don't have the time to properly care for cast iron pans. These pans are a dream to clean up afterwards. I know that some people have had issues with the coating, but I haven't had any problems in the 5 months that I've been using them. I don't put them in the dishwasher, so not sure if that has anything to do with it.My only complaint with this size pan is that food does not cook evenly across the pan. I have to make sure and mix things around. I only downgraded one start for this since I know that this is not what ceramic pans are best for.I think this was a great value for the price and works well for me.

Started losing its non-stick interior about six months in. It's not flaking, just has to be scoured with a nylon pad to get it clean. It cooks fairly quickly and is a nice size. It is lightweight, which is a "blessing and a curse." It's easy to handle, but has to be held when turning or stirring contents or it slides off the burner.

This is a nice, large pan heavy enough to not feel cheap but not so heavy it hurts your wrist when emptying. I live and travel on a sailboat, so have minimal pans to perform all my cooking needs. This pan has excellent non-stick properties and lasted for about 6 weeks before starting to develop areas that would not come off with my non scratching sponge. The pan got a workout, used at least three times a day. I take great care of my pans , always let them cool before cleaning and never use metal. It was not the coating coming off, but things baking into the pan. The problem occurred after making about a dozen pieces of Naan, repeatedly spray oiling and spicing up the dough over a period of about 1/2 hour at medium heat. Since the pan was out of the 30 day return policy with Amazon I contacted the company directly and they are sending a replacement pan free of charge. I love companies that stand behind their products like that! I would recommend this pan and their products.

I'm a little disappointed with this pan. It has a raised pattern on the bottom, which is pretty, but I thought was odd because it's supposed to be a non stick surface. At first, it was non stick, despite the fact that the surface isn't smooth. But, I've owned it for less than a year and it's lost much of it's non-sticky-ness. I still use it and like it, but I wouldn't consider it non-stick after a few months of use.

I LOVE this pot. I appreciate that the materials used are not toxic, and the pan heats very evenly throughout. I think this is one of the best pans that I have ever bought, especially for the price. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because you do have to take special care to maintain it. Mainly, you just can't use any metal on the pan while cooking (true of all non-stick pans, and at least this one doesn't have toxic flakes if you do accidentally scrape the bottom). But you also have to be careful while cleaning it per the instructions provided with the pan. It's nothing difficult but you do have to take care of it.

Finally, a fry pan that delivers on its promises. For some time we have searched for a non-stick fry pan that is PTFE and PFOA free and reasonably priced. Quite simply, there are not that many pans that meet those few criteria. We have tried most that do and found that after initial promise, the non-stick quality faded rapidly. The Bella Flame has not only been the exception but has been exceptional in performance. It is now, in fact, our favorite fry pan. Our first concern was to find a pan that did not use either of the potential cancer-causing agents PTFE or PFOA. Many pans did not have one or the other. Few were free of both, as is the Bella Flame. Our next priority was to have a non-stick pan. If you have ever purchased a non-stick pan, you know this seemingly simple goal is extremely difficult to meet. While most pans work well for the first few weeks or months, the non-stick aspect usually fades quickly. Not so with our Bella Flame. The pan then provides extra value by being an ideal weight (substantial yet not too heavy), providing a glass lid which contains a built-in vent, and by being very attractive with a patterned black cooking surface (which might assist the non-stick function) and a pleasant, light green outer surface and handle. As you can tell, we are very happy with this pan.

This pan was a pleasant surprise. Most non-sticks that are more "green" simply do not perform when the going gets tough......with things like scrambled eggs or fried rice. This is remarkably effective non-stick without all the crazy chemical coating. I have fried bacon, made grilled cheese, and scrambled eggs without issue. You do need to use an appropriate amount of cooking fat and clean it properly to maintain it, but it is worth it.The pan itself is very pretty, a nice eye catching green with a lovely design printed on the interior. I have only had it a short while, so it remains to be seen how durable it is and if the non-stick quality will last. So far so good.

Like all these pans - it works great at first. I was so happy. But, despite my doing all I could to keep it nice ( no super hot water, no cooking at high temps, no soaking, no harsh soap, no scratching, no big temp fluctuations, no spray oil, yes good oil) it now sticks REALLY bad. First problems started at about 3 months, and now at about 9 months in I can only use it for greasy food like hamburger. It has a warranty so I'll be sending it back.
