So good!!!
I’m not sure how most of these are bad scores. I followed the instructions appropriately and followed the dos and don’ts and mine turned out great! Key is that your water is in a rolling boil, and then you add the pearls you drop them in gently but stir as do for the first 2 mins so they don’t clump. Don’t just pop them in with cold water and bring it to boil—they will dissolve. Steep them in brown sugar for a couple mins and then into your drink!

Poor quality control
I received a bag with an expiration date that was just 6 months away. The boba pearls were practically disintegrating. When I combined the boba with hot water, it all turned to mush. Very disappointed! The seller here on Amazon must be selling batches that the manufacturer deemed too old to distribute.

Great flavor but....
Hello,Originally I was going to give this a 1 star review, however, this isn’t the case to me being ignorant and trying the make the boba “my own way”.If you follow the instructions of waiting for the water fully boil, the boba pearls won’t dissolve. If you add the pearls to water that isn’t hot or fully boiled, they will dissolve the moment they come in contact with water.Always read the instructions when applicable to obtain best results.

Cooks faster than the packaging says.
Love it. They are tiny boba so they will be more delicate than the regular boba, but as long as you gently work with it, it should be okay. Also, I didn’t follow the directions on the packaging because in my opinion is seemed like way to much and probably was why a lot of people said this boba was mushy for them. I didn’t have a measurement of anything but I basically just added a lot of water to the pot, enough to where I think its’s enough room for the boba to move around so they don’t get mushy. Even if it is too much, it is best to have more water than have a little but because it’s more likely to stick and get mushy. I let it come to a boil then poured in a cup of boba, and let it boil for about 2 minutes. I tried one and it was already cooked for me so I turned off the heat let it set in there for 30 seconds as I looked for my strainer and rinsed with cold water and added my boba to sugar syrup and that’s it! It cooks faster than what it says so just keep trying a boba as it’s cooking.

Difficult to make- loose their shape
These are a great deal- and the taste is good- but they are temperamental to make...they turn to slime and loose their shape. I'm left with strands of boba material... which is not as fun as bubbles.

Tapioca
No issues at all with this boba:Make sure you have plenty of boiling water then put in 1/4 cup per drinkStir them every 2 minutes for a total of 6 minutes or soTurn off the heat, cover, let them steam another 6 minutes but still stir them every 2-3 minutesDrain in colander then let them sit in some simple syrup until ready to useIf you want chewier boba just cut short the steaming timePS this will easily fill a gallon zip-lock so should last you a long time

Mini-boba! Exactly what I was looking for!
Ever since I got hooked on mini boba in college at UC Berkeley I've wanted to make it at home. So glad I found this company because it's so easy to make and tastes exactly like the professional mini boba I remember. Goes great with milk + black tea or milk + jasmine green tea!

Horrible tapioca pearls
Horrible tapioca pearls They are very delicate, they crumble very easily, once you cook them you end up with very little amount. I usually buy a different E-FA brand which they are amazing, wanted to give these a try but first and last time I buy them, not happy specially cause I can’t even return them.
