SHTFandGO Bullet Proof Rocket Stoves RPG Cooking and Emergency Tent Heater

Just had my first fire in this outside ,no chimney. Was very easy to get started with a couple pieces of paper and some sticks. Once it gets going with bigger stuff it gasifies perfectly with zero visible smoke coming out of the short chimney. It is very easy to control the burn with the clean out drawer. I put in one 4 inch diameter log split into smaller pieces and has been going for the last hour. I am very happy with us and thank you so much to everyone involved in making this awesome heater/cooker. This may end up saving me and my family’s life and for that I am thankful.

As described, working well, easy install. Took some effort to find the accessories, i.e. 4" damper & 4" chimney pipe. I tied the Rocket Stove into a triple lined chimney pipe in a block building, concrete floor with metal roof. Heating a 24' x 24' shop building in 30 degree temperatures, while it won't run me out I'm comfortable working. NOTE: this is a small unit for occasional use, I don't expect it would hold up to 10 hour work days, 5 days a week. Adding the chimney pipe really increases the air draw, so be careful about how much wood you put in at a time. I suspect it could get so hot the metal could warp. Use the built in cook top damper & a add on chimney damper (a must when using a chimney). Also invest in a stove thermometer. The Rocket replaced a 70 year old stove that was at the end of it's life.

Lights easy, i really like this unit coupled with the griddle. Deer camp has now changed forever. No more having 5 guys trying to cook over a little pot belly stove. No more propane tanks. Cook with the sticks that fall from the trees around camp. Cut sticks to 16 inches and stack in the cabin during the fall to dry... great. The griddle works as a big heat exchanger, less heat loss from chimney.

Great little wood burning stove. Use it for outdoors use when the temperatures get low. This stove can produce some good heat. I added some 4" automotive exhaust tubing and 2 Y pipes with a flue in the pipe to give some more heat transfer ability from the stove. The stove does rust, so some care must be put into it to make it last longer. All parts can be found here on Amazon!

Easy to put together. I quickly put it to use. Made coffee with my expresso pot scrambled eggs and bacon . And still grilled some burgers and hot dogs for lunch . I'm sure I can whip up some heat with it if I need to stay warm. Love it. I will never part with it.
