He freezes and I sweat....
If you freeze to death at night especially in our freezing cold winters-yes I live by the U.P so it is damn cold-this blanket would be great for you! I however sleep very warm but he freezes at night so I got this for us in the winter months. There’s been several nights I wake up sweating but he’s sound asleep cuddled up like a lil kid with his favorite blankey 😂I run our heat at 69-70(cause that’s about the highest I can crank it-In floor heat sucks) with this being said we keep the bedroom doors all closed since we have a St. Bernard who like to set her wet-slobber filled face on the edge of our bed 🤮 nasty surprise to put your hand in during morning hours, so the bedroom only gets to about 60 degrees esp when it’s windy since we keep the door closed. For whatever reason the in floor heat does not work the greatest in the bedrooms. Anywho it’s a great purchase depending on your body and how you sleep.Another thing to consider is washing. It does NOT fit in our standard size washer and dryer which mean we have to haul this large blanket to the laundry mat to wash it. 🤨 didn’t think about that when I ordered it.

Heavenly!!!
This is the best comforter I’ve ever owned. It is as advertised. It’s soooo soft and plush. I ordered the king for my queen bed which sets pretty high off the floor and I think it fits just right. A few more inches wider wouldn’t hurt but I couldn’t be more pleased with this purchase.

Soft and fuzzy but...
This blanket is soft, fuzzy and heavy which is great for sleeping however, some of the blanket melted in the dryer. I had to wash it when it arrived before using because it had a horrible smell and I kept rotating during drying due to the size and it still melted. Which leads me to believe it’s poor quality. Wish it held up better, especially for that I paid and because we really wanted this blanket to work for us long term. Don’t waste your $$$

Very mixed feelings.
Well it looks nothing like the picture. And it's the ugliest bedspread I have ever owned. But it lives up to its name...was finally warm enough to relax and fully sleep like a rock. Coma inducing indeed. I just wish it looked like the picture. 🙄

COMFY
It is extra large. It is comfy. It is fluffy. It is soft. It’s everything you ever wanted in a cold season comforter. You won’t want to leave your bed EVER!!! However.... it will NOT fit into even the largest home washer/dryer, so it’s an item that must go to cleaner to get washed. I guess I will be going to the cleaners every 2-3 weeks since my dogs WILL not leave the bed now.

Aptly named...
Love this comforter! It’s so lush and cozy. It gets very warm so if you are like me and can get too hot at night, definitely have a lighter mid-layer to alleviate the extra heat. It’s soft, luxe and perfect for serious bedtime movie-watching. The only thing I’d warn others to be mindful of is that it’s oversized (I got the King) and I had to take it to be laundered since my standard front-load machine isn’t big enough to accommodate its bulk. Be careful that you (or the laundry service) don’t try to wash or dry it with high heat. Wash on cool delicate and dry on low heat. It’ll take a long time but it’s worth it since the fabric will change texture with too much heat. I was lucky to catch the issue with just a small patch being compromised.

Listed size incorrect
The listing says this blanket is both 112" x 98" and 112" x 96" (in two different places). Although this blanket is super warm and super soft, if you're looking for side coverage or those particular dimensions, don't bother buying this because it is actually 112" x 92". I have a 15 inch thick King mattress on a 14 inch platform frame and it just looks kind of stupid when you see the sides of my bed because the bottom is incredibly long and the sides are super short. Putting a bed skirt on helped, but as you can see from the pictures, it doesn't even cover the mattress on the sides.
