This is a great scratcher. Very tall and perfect size for my 15 lb kitty. She loved it right away. Sturdy and doesn't tip over. Easy to put together. Great value.

This took only a few minutes to put together and seems pretty sturdy. Even though my furbabies luxurious condo with many scratching options is right next to the couch, they love to scratch my couch and stretch on it. I tried the tape but I have two cats and one of them knows how to pull the tape off so it doesn't work with her. I also have two dogs and one is a fluff ball so his hair kept getting caught on the tape and making the stickyness ineffective. When I pulled the tape off to remove it, some of the threads also came off of my couch so tape or sticky deterrents are not a good solution. I ended up having to cover it til I could figure out another solution and used a toweI in the meantime. I decided to purchase this scratching post because I have a similar one in my room that they love to use and I've had it for a year since they were kittens. I initially put some catnip to attract the furbabies on this new one because they were a little uncertain at first. I left the house for the day and when I came back they went straight to it to scratch out of excitement from my return so it seems to be working. It's too soon to tell if they are still using the couch and I pray this is the solution to help avoid their attraction to it. So far I have excellent ratings because it came very quickly after purchasing, it was easy peasy to assemble, it's a great size, the color and style looks great in the room with my other furniture, and the cats seem to enjoy it very much!

Good and sturdy product. Worth the price. Easy to put together. The material on the sides is a little stiffer than most scratching posts I've had over the years, but my cat still loves to use it. It also looks much nicer that others I've purchased. And doesnt seem to shed little fuzz balls like the others. I'm going to buy a few more to replace the ones around the house.

Item was great, cat was not impressed. Putting it together was a little challenging. Managed to figure it out without any instructions (although they did include a hex key, and safety instructions regarding warnings, cleaning, and disposal). Once you get it put together it is quite sturdy. Sprayed it with catnip spray but my cat only laid on the carpeted piece on the bottom. She had absolutely no interest in climbing or scratching. Fortunately it found a home with my grandcats who are gleefully enjoying it and love sitting on the very top.

Great quality. Good height so the cat can play, and really get a good scratch on. Built well. Love the plush stand, very nice.

The media could not be loaded. I've had this guy for 10 months now; at the time, i had wanted something simple in style but tall enough my single cat could stretch out on, as we also recently purchased a rather nice and expensive couch. I had blanched a little at the price, as I was expecting something poorly made and ready to toss after 3-6 months, but honestly this was a decent price point for quite a bit more height than the average post you can find.I am incredibly suprised at the quality of this thing. After 10 months of use, it looks minimally used, despite my cat vastly prefering it over the couch itself. It's sturdy despite being easy to put together, and sheds hair and debris minimally. I rarely need to clean it.My cat can stretch her full length on it fairly well, though she is on the shorter side. She likes climbing it to perch on top of it, and I have taught her to scratch on it "with me" AKA, she goes to town and i drag my nails across it with her.I feel as though my only complaint is it's kind of an eyesore -- imagine a 5 story hotel in the in the middle of a suburb. Kind of out of place in comparison and rather clunky. It's as tall as my waist and about as thick as a football is round. Height and thickness matter for durability, I know, but it doesn't change the facts.Regardless it's probably the best scratching post out there. Give this guy a chance.I am not very good at taking videos and playing with my daughter at the same time so the video provided is coincidentally perfect for showing off the scratching post itself.

Loooove this scratcher and so does my cat! Its great for climbing on, great for a long stretch and scratch, and it comes with a tethered ball for playing! Definitely one of my best cat purchases of all time. Plenty sturdy and stable. It’s taller than most standard post scratchers which is perfect for cats who love to climb!

I needed something to stop my cats from digging into the corners of the couch, so I bought them this scratching post. They already have multiple scratching posts on their cat tower, but refuse to use them, so it was time to buy a standalone one.My first reason for deciding on this exact product was that it was relatively cheaper than other options, as some of these other ones listed on here are kinda outrageous— not gonna lie. Either way, I’m happy I bought this.It has been a couple months since purchasing and it has lasted a good while before the cats finally got through the rope, slowly shredding it off bit by bit. It perfectly matched their grey cat tower and the overall neutral aesthetic of one of the rooms in my household. It’s height is true to the product description, it allowed my cats to get a bit of a stretch in while also shredding their claws.Overall, I don’t regret buying this product as it was cheap, saved my furniture from being completely destroyed, and made my cats happier.
