Great American made alternative to Carhartt
The obvious comparison would be to the Carhartt B01 and Roundhouse 2202, they're all rigid duck, double front carpenter pants.The fit on these, Stan Ray, is a bit slimmer and more form fitting than the other two. Not enough to be restrictive though.They're plenty tough. No issues with the seams or with abrasions. Zipper and button are still going strong after several weeks of near daily wear.This probably doesn't matter much, being beat up work pants after all, but whatever they do the color of the material doesn't fade nearly as quickly as the Carhartts nor does it have weird fade patterns after a couple washes like the Roundhouse.The only thing that I can find fault with are the main front/side pockets. Much smaller than the competition. A wallet and keys fills them right up and they don't leave much confidence in retention. I haven't had any major issues though.Overall, great pants for working folks.

In addition to all the other expected pockets these have a pocket under the hammer loop!!! Great!!! Look and fit great!!! These are a better product than Chinese made Carhartt and you don't have to support Communist Dictatorships to wear them. I bought these because Round House was out of my size and I needed a pair quick. I love either product along with my union made Red Wing boots, Wigwam socks, and made in USA T shirts. Support yourself and by USA products. You don't have to take a back seat in quality, Quite the contrary. These are what MADE IN AMERICA should be.

Crafted and made in the USA
I really like these pants. I find them comfortable and they seem very durable.My wife is less keen. She thinks the styling makes me look like one of those old guys trying to be young...The tag says "proudly crafted in the USA" which legally means the have to be designed in the US. On the back tag where it tells the length and waist it does say made in the usa. Which means they were manufactured in the usa. At first I was confused by the crafted tag but seeing the other tag cleared up any question I had. These are my favorite pants... to my wife's dismay

Not good for real carpenters
Probably good for office guys or hipsters who want to feel manly by wearing a ‘carpenter’ pant. The front is too long and rubs my stomach as it sits above my belt. Recieved 2 pairs and one of them looked like they were sewen by an amature. Threads hanging out and incomplete stitch lines. I wore them fof 7 work days and the crotch tore out along the stitching. Was looking for tough American made work jeans an I will be searching still.

I find the quality just as good as Carharts or Dickies
I find the quality just as good as Carharts or Dickies. I don't get overly sweaty in them while working as they are 100% cotton. Front pockets were nice and deep. Made in USA! Not like certain brands which are USA in a corporate sense but made overseas. Will buy again when my various older brands finally wear out.

Great pants
Great pants fit is better then carhartts although they are both similar in design I like these better and best of all there made in the USA
