Used 'Polo' book
I was a bit disappointed with the condition of this book, given the price. There is quite a lot of damage to the cover and writing inside the front cover. It is a beautiful book which I first saw in Argentina, and bought it for a polo mad daughter's birthday. I hope she will be prepared to overlook the damage.

A big coffee table book - packed with wonderful photographs
Susan Barrantes was born in England and was married for many years to the late Hector Barrantes an outstanding Polo player of his generation.Dont buy this book to understand the game of Polo - it will let you down. Dont buy this book to improve your game - again, it will let you down. Buy this book simply for the joy of looking at some of the most stunning pictures of Polo I have ever seen. This is a big coffee table book with every page beautifully illustrated. For those who have no interest in Polo as a game, they will find pleasure in the magnificent photo's.For those who have a love of the game - they will delight in how the book has captured the power the speed and the passion of Polo.It is pricey but good value for money. A book suitable as a Christmas gift to a friend - or simply as a treat for yourself. You wont be dissapointed.Ray Coyte

wonderful coffee table book
Susan Barrantes was born in England as Susan Mary Wright (1937–1998). First she was married to the polo trainer from prince Charles Mayor Ronald Ferguson. Her daughter, Sarah Frguson, known as "Fergie", was married to british royal prince Andrew.1975 she married the outstanding argentine poloplayer Hector Barrantes to whom she dedicated this book and with whom she spent the rest of her life on a farm in Argentina breeding polohorses. This is a wonderful "coffee table book", for those who are interest in Polo around the world, withvery nice pictures. I think it is an absolutly must have for all polo fans. It has some text, but it is for sure not an instructure book, it lives from the very good photos, the impressions, to show us the passion that she and her husband have had for this extraordinary sport. This book was published in english, spanisch and french.

Average
I found the book underwhelming / maybe because the photography was nothing special - for the rest it's a fine coffee table ornament.

Unexpensive for its quality
The book keeps the high quality of this Argentine publisher. Beautiful photos, specially for the world capital of this horse sport, Argentina. Recommended.
