Definitely makes you sweat
It was quite comfortable and snug, I bought extra large( I'm a medium) as all the reviews told me too. But I would just buy your size as it is supposed to be tight. I don't know if it actually does anything though. It does make you sweat theres no doubt about that but I'm not sure if that helps, over all it's quite comfortable and it's alright value for money. Just buy your size and ignore half the reviews on this. Cheers for the read

Great product
Great product, I think that it has effect in the loosing weight process. I really recommend to don’t use during cardio fitness sections. The material is quite good .

Sweating it off...
First, about the sizing guide above - it's wrong and it's right. To get the right size you're better to go by the waist size than the chest size. My chest is actually about 42" and I got the XXL size which, according to the size guide should fit me but it's too loose and I would be better with the L or XL. My waist is about 33" so the XL should actually give me the skin-tight fit needed for this to work properly - if it's too loose on you the circulation of air will undermine the 'sauna' effect.Second, about the 'sauna' effect - it works and it doesn't. It's true that wearing something that makes you sweat will reduce your weight by reducing your water level but that will just shoot straight back up again as soon as you take a drink - and you'll want to do that straight away after all that sweaty exercise. It's also true that wearing something that increases your body temperature will also increase your heart-rate as your body tries to pump blood to the surface and cool you down again. That increased heart-rate could help increase your calorie burn and so help burn off some fat, but you can't spot-reduce fat so don't expect a six-pack to appear when you unzip the vest again. The vest itself is quite well made with a decent weight of neoprene and there's enough stretch to keep it skin-tight without being uncomfortable - assuming you get the sizing right. It does have some 'flavour' as the description says -- I assume they mean 'odour' -- but that will fade and it's just a 'new neoprene' smell, nothing nasty. You can't machine wash it or tumble-dry it but it's not too hard to look after. The simplest way is to put it on a waterproof hanger in your shower and just use the shower to rinse it clean again, then just let it air dry there which doesn't take long. A periodic proper hand-wash with laundry liquid would also be advisable but a good lukewarm rinse is all it needs most of the time. It's probably of most use to already-fit people looking to burn off those last few grams of fat and get a lean and mean look. If you're significantly overweight then maybe you should be careful about exercising wearing something specifically designed to make you overheat, you could be putting more strain on your heart than is advisable - but I'm not a doctor, just a concerned citizen!

Does what it claims, but order at least one size larger than your usual size
I'm a fairly big guy. 6ft 3", with a 44" chest and for tops, an XL is usually a very good fit for me.This sauna vest was labelled as XXL and is quite a snug fit (admittedly, I'm nowhere near as "ripped" as the men in the promotional photos!).The neoprene material feels very similar to the knee-supports I use when playing cricket and is certainly effective at making you sweat. It only takes a short amount of time on the cross-trainer or even just doing some weights down the gym for you to feel that sauna-like glow.I could certainly do with losing a few lbs so, hopefully, this top will help a little with my weight management programme. The full-length zip seems fairly robust and it's comfortable in use.Comes with a small cooling towel, which is great for mopping your fevered brow after the sauna effect really kicks in.Only downside is that, unlike my other gym cloathing, this cannot be put in the washing machine, but requires a separate hand-only wash.It does dry very quickly though - which is handy.Overall a good product, but make sure you choose a size bigger than usual.

Great workout vest!
Not only is this vest very comfortable to wear it feels snug and feels like it helps hold you together for bigger lifts!Soaks up the sweat like a sponge, and washes up really nicely, even if you use it for a couple of workouts, no lingering odours.I like this vest it gives me a kind of going to work mentality which is an extra lift when you are tired and not feeling much like working out, keeps you true!I used to have a wrangler white cotton vest, which I thought was great but these guys know their sports clothes, this feels great and is a pleasure to wear and it may be my imagination, but I feel like my workouts have been that extra 20% more productive!Best in class product! My only issue with it is the sizes are a little snug, I'm not that huge but this is a very tight fit!

Does what it says it will do...
The 2xl size was just about a great fit for me, if a little tight, on what I was expecting from the size guide. If you have any doubts look at your size and maybe go one up.It's a little bit disappointing out of the packet. There are no frills and its not perhaps what I was expecting. It goes on like a zip-up cardigan I suppose and it really doesn't take much to get you sweating. I firstly used it on a dog walk on a cold morning and it certainly ramped up the sweat. It wasn't uncomfortable but by the end of a couple of hours or so of walking there was a slightly odd feeling. It certainly does what it says it will in terms of making you sweat and as I'm in the middle of a 10 week "thispired" challenge at work any little bit will help. I'd say its more suited to short bursts of exercise rather than longer ones.It washes fine too if you follow the instructions.A niche item, but if you're looking for this kind of thing a good place to start.
