Meural's first accessory is the Swivel Mount, a sturdy, durable, lightweight mechanism that makes it easy to switch orientations in seconds - and access all of your artwork. With an easy, one-time install, it's the must-have hanging mechanism for users who frequently discover new art or showcase their own. Note: The Canvas should always be hung in vertical (so that the power button is on the left). It turns 90 degrees only: 1. Clockwise to go from vertical to horizontal (so that the power button is on top) 2. Counterclockwise to go from horizontal to vertical (so that the power button is back on the left)

Easy to install......BUT
The swivel mount was easy to install, but because the screw holes are so close together it would be easy to install without getting level, even though they send a cheap bubble level to aid in the process. Also, I had another item hanging on the wall fairly close and had to move it, because the Meural frame needs a lot of space when you swivel it to landscape position. I also chose not to use the molly screws that came with the swivel, because regular screws seem to be solid enough to hold it and I didn't want big holes in the wall in case I move it to another location in the future. Another feature I didn't like is you can move the frame counter-clockwise with this mount instead of clockwise. It makes a scary clunking noise when you do this like it's going to fall off the wall (it's not), but it should be manufactured so you can't turn it to the left. Also I feel that this mount should come with the Meural automatically instead of having to pay extra for it. It's obvious you are going to download both Portrait and Landscape pictures, and you want the entire frame filled with the picture.

Swivel is neat to use, but does not mount well with anchor screws provided
This is a neat mount, but the anchors that came with the mount were terrible quality. I had to go to Home Depot to get sturdy anchors for #8 screws to mount the plate. It is also useful to buy #8 washers as well to ensure a snug fit to the wall. When the frame is mounted onto the swivel and you rotate the canvas, it sometimes seems to "slip" into place when going from vertical to horizontal. Not as smooth as I would like when changing orientations.

Love how easy it is to change from landscape to portrait. Makes the Meural so much more usable.

The directions are crap and it doesn't work. Got to the last step of "sliding it down onto the bracket"; it isn't stable and turns 360 degrees. The middle piece just seems to make it less sturdy. Which is fine, because the drywall anchors were already pulling from the wall. At least I didn't let it go with the full weight and break everything.Edit: I used 3/16 toggle anchors and the back plate is sturdier. It still turns beyond the 90 degrees, but it is up. I wouldn't trust it around kids.
