Optiplex 7040 MT (Intel Quad Core i7-6700, 16GB Ram, 256GB SSD, HDMI, DVD-RW) Win 10Pro (Renewed)
Purchased this to do a UEFI install of Windows 7. Device is in really good condition for a used device. Clean, no dust bunnies, minor case blemishes, booted right up. Peripherals are so-so but hadn't really planned on using them and appreciate that they were included. The keyboard is a wired BT (Brand, not blue tooth) that takes a couple of pounds of pressure to get the left Shift key to engage but no other issues. It included what looks like a Topwin Mini USB 802.11b/g/n 300M dongle (generic China) but no drivers included and Win 7 does not recognize it (I'm guessing win 10 might) and no website to get drivers from. Those are about the only things from the seller side and I would buy from them again (even with them still showing a pic of a 7050 on the product page but the description is correct and I was expecting a 7040). The 7040 itself has some funky features and it's small (to me) for a Mini Tower) but it works. I pulled the includded 2.5 drive with out even running the win 10 install on it and set it aside. Bought a 1TB and a 2TB 2.5 drive. Had to buy a 2nd 2.5 drive tray for the 2nd drive (listed on Amazon) and just in case a 3.5 drive tray to go in the 5.25 empty bay (also listed on Amazon) and a set of SATA cables. And 1 each a PD to DVI and HDMI to DVI cable since I have it on an older monitor at the moment. Device has 2 PD ports and 1 HDMI. No VGA or DVI. Graphics seems good. Doubt if I could ever get the newer 2 slot video cards to fit in it let alone power one. Drivers are still available on Dell site and I even found a walk through specific to the 7040 for a UEFI install on the web. There are definite jumped steps in it but most people with PC building experience should be able to figure it out. It does call for MS Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit 1511 which is no longer available through MS (I think it was the last one to support a WIN 7 UEFI install build so go figure) but I found it pretty easily through another site. And it worked! In fact I am writting this review on it. Haven't ran any newer games on it yet but am not expecting any issues with the ones I play (we will see what happens with WDogs 2). Haven't had to try any tech support through seller so can't comment on that aspect.

Value for money
I buy a lot of refurbished computers but never seen such a system like brand new. Each process from integration, deployment, packing, and shipping is like an OEM Manufacturer company. All the accessories were complete. The shipping was highly fast.

Very poor condition of the chassis, bumps and paint on the front.
Very poor condition of the chassis, bumps and paint on the front as well as cobwebs on the inside. I have to invest more money now in another chassis. In addition the photo said that it was a 7050 chassis and it looked very new not in the state in which it arrived. They should send me another chassis or return some money as compensation. I'm very disgusted.
