These curtains are great as black out blinds. At a fraction of the cost of custom blinds, they are a good value product.The noise canceling claims are specious. From discussing noise cancelling with professional drapery business owners - you need to have a very thick textured fabric, but far more important for noise cancelling is the “bump” fabric behind it. This is the noise cancelling layer that helps with noise cancelling.So definitely recommend this product in terms of clean, functional, minimal wrinkling, blackout curtains. But don’t get this if you are looking for serious noise cancelling - you’ll need to spring for a different and more costly solution for noise.

For the price, these are very good. They look really nice and block the light pretty well.There are a few pinholes where light comes through when it is very bright outside. I never could get all the wrinkles out, even after washing, drying and ironing.Overall, for the price, I would buy again.

Love the look and function of this product. The only reason for the 4 stars is that I haven’t had it too long and I can already see a hole in the curtain where it rubs against my window when it’s windy. If your windows are always closed it won’t be a problem.

Some noisy neighbors recently moved in right next to my bedroom window. Tired of being woken up in the middle of the night by their bright headlights and loud conversations, I decided to give these a try. The difference they make in blocking out light and helping temper sound has been phenomenal! I highly recommend. They do come out of the packaging wrinkly but once I get around to steaming them I think they'll look fantastic.

The biggest issue I had is about half* the panels came in with a different undertone. *I ordered 9 packages. One was more brown and one was grey. They do room darken quite well. The thermal benefit and noise reduction doesn't seem particularly strong. They are fairly lightweight, lined and wash and dry easily (though still come out wrinkled after washing and drying so need pressing or steaming). Note it's helpful to run them through a rinse cycle before washing otherwise you get a washer full of suds.

I’ve had these up for about a month or so and I love them. I think they look nice and they are thick and heavy. They have almost a soft plasticky feel. They do not block out all light but I wasn’t expecting them to. They darken the room enough during the day for me to sleep when I work nights. The only thing I noticed that might be a downside is the wrinkles have yet to come out. They don’t bother me any though:)

I had to wash them to get the folding lines out before hanging. I washed cold and gentle. They were wet and I put them on low tumble in the dryer, long enough to keep them from dripping. I took them out damp and the back was falling off in patches.I saw the light coming through in spots. I left them up and didn’t return them because I washed them and frankly didn’t want to go through the process of mailing and driving to the post office.I love blackouts but in the future will only purchase after inspecting.

Not completely blackout. The light still comes in from the sides and the top. I even ordered them extra large for the window size, but it’s still better than having nothing there...I haven’t really noticed any difference in outside noise.
