Kathak (Dances of India) Hardcover – June 17, 2009

Nice book for those who have absolutely no idea what kathak is. I was expecting something more advanced, a kind of a scholar position, but anyway I think the book is very good, helpful, it's such a kind of a nice guide throughout this Indian dance.

In a research work like this, it is unfortunate that the photo credits are nowhere to be found. However, one of the foremost Kathak scholars wrote the text, and that makes it valuable to the devoted Kathak fan or dancer.

Ordered 2 days back.. I received it by today afternoon.. Happy with the delivery speed.. Saw some beautiful pictures of kathak stalwarts.. I am yet to read the book..

Cover shows kathak dance but inside it contains information about mohiniattam. Due to family problems could not return. Is it possible to exchange now?Star rating is zero.
