LEGO Friends Olivia's Cupcake Café 41366 Building Kit (335 Pieces)

This was a great introduction to Lego for a 7-year-old's birthday. She was able to follow the instructions with just a bit of help, and she loves the set. There is plenty of room for pretend play with two characters and activities for them to do with the cafe setup including a baking area, store, and eating areas. It even includes a gear mechanism for some extra STEM extension, if she ever takes apart the cupcake store (unlikely, given how much she loves it, but maybe in a couple of years she'll get tired of it?!) then she can experiment with other uses for the gear. And... a serving robot? What a cool unexpected touch!I have to admit I was skeptical about the whole concept of "girl lego," I'm a gender-neutral purist, but you really can't argue with kids having a great time.

Great quality.She's almost 7 and she worked on this indepently. Instructions are easy to follow.

Delivery a bit high priced

My son was always a Lego enthusiast (I still buy them for him for special occasions). My grand-daughter enjoys them as well. This is the first set that she put together entirely by herself. The instructions were easy to follow and she had a blast! Kept her occupied for hours. She's almost 8 and very imaginative. She wants more - and her birthday is coming up!

Fun, easy to use for 3 and 6 year olds. I especially liked the fact that car comes with second battery so there’s always one ready to play. Also like the flip flop rebound feature which makes wee ones believe they are actually in control and also not having to retrieve car from wall or furniture.4 stars because nothing’s ever perfect, steering is a little tricky, but I would recommend to friends.

I bought this for my 6 year old daughter who has been BEGGING me for one. It's so cute! She was able to put it together all by herself in about 5 1/2 hours, taking frequent breaks of course. I was impressed that it kept her interest so long.

My 7-year-old daughter liked it so much that we purchased one for two of her friends on their birthdays too! It's pretty challenging, so she needed a little help, but was able to complete most of it on her own by following the step-by-step directions. She just loves the robot that serves and all the amazing details, like the blender. It's awesome that it even includes a delivery car and two people (most of our kits only have one).

This was a great lego kit for both my daughters.The instructions were very clear and came with pictures , step by step. The possibilities of this kit were endless. There was so much to do , from the characters to buildings.When it came, the packaging was amazing and nothing was damaged.It also came with extras of some small pieces just in case you lost the lego pieces. Overall it was a little bit over priced for a basic cupcake cafe.
