Size:6"x5.5yards A tattoo is a personal and permanent work of art. It is also a type of wound, as a tattoo gun uses a fast-moving needle to inject ink deep into the skin. Just as proper care ensures that a painting can hang in a gallery undamaged for years, tattoo aftercare is an important part of preserving a tattoo. Once the tattoo is done, the artist will apply a thin layer of tattoo jelly or moisturizer over the entire tattooed area. They will then cover the area completely with a tattoo bandage. This covering protects the open skin from bacteria, sunlight, and from rubbing against clothing. After usually no less than 5 hours, it is safe to remove the bandage and wash the tattoo. After thorough hand-washing, a person can gently wash the tattoo with hypoallergenic soap and warm water using their fingers. The moisturizer on the skin will come off, and the tattoo may appear as if it is oozing ink or a thick, sticky substance. This reaction is not usually a cause for concern, as it is just the excess fluid and ink from the tattoo process. After washing, a person should pat the skin with a clean paper towel and allow it to air-dry for up to an hour. When the area is completely dry, they can apply a thin layer of moisturizer to the tattoo, but leave it uncovered to allow the skin to breathe.

Easy to use, thrifty.
I use this product to keep salve on some areas of my body that have atopic dermatitis. It is very easy to apply and the roll is a good value. You can cut what length you need and it stays in my skin unlike adhesive bandages which irritate my sensitive skin this type of clear adhesive also lets you see the skin beneath the bandage.

good
The paper side has a cut down one side to make it easy to peel and stick. The thicker plastic is easy to peel off. It is cut down the middle and has green arrows to peel it off leaving the thin plastic layer stuck to the skin.I use it to waterproof a nephrostomy site for showering

Incredible
Took a while to figure out application, but stayed on great afterwards. My tattoos usually take not weeks but 3 months to heal.I put this on right after getting my last tattoo, took off after 4 days my tattoo looked great, after a week my tattoo is almost healed. It’s amazing. The adhesive didn’t irritate my skin.

More uses than just for tattoos!
I know that this product is billed as an adhesive covering for new tattoos, however I came across it in a search for medical adhesive bandages. The price was excellent and the fact that it's ability to protect newly tattooed skin from infection, yet still be breathable (just like the medical adhesive bandages I was looking at - but with much lower price tag), I decided to give it a try. I am very glad I did. It was a bit tricky figuring out how to use it properly - no instructions included =(. After some trial and error, I finally figured it out. It is excellent at protecting minor surface wounds (such as abrasions etc...), and it also work for applying poultices. I would highly recommend this product.

This is a must have for tattoos
This is amazing stuff. Just leave this on for 3 days and the healing process of your tattoo is almost done. This prevents infections and irritation from your clothes rubbing it. I highly recommend this product.

Honestly a great buy, tattoo artist recommended.
I’ve been using the more popular brand Saniderm for some time now. And this product is actually easier to apply because of the cut outs built in to the removable side of the wrap. It’s half the cost and just as good as the leading brands. Highly recommend no joke. Great product.
