For three years now, I have bought these socks once or twice a year as the dryer eats the occasional sock or they vanish into the dark matter of the universe (who knows where they go). Seriously though, I have not had any signs of wearing or fading on a single one of these socks and I wear them every day. They stay up comfortably without squeezing my legs or leaving lines at the top. I don't write many reviews, but this is a product that so far exceeded my expectations that I've actually told friends about them. With raised brows, they say, "really, you want to tell me about your socks?" Yes, I want to tell you about my socks.

Sie sitzen am Fuß wie eine zweite Haut, der Bund drückt überhaupt nicht ein, der Schaft rutscht nicht am Bein herunter. Der Stoff ist nach etlichen Hand- und Maschinenwäschen immer noch glatt, weich und anschmiegsam. Störend ist für mich, die irreführende Betitelung, da die Strümpfe zu ¼ aus Kunststoff bestehen, der Nirgends im Titel aufgeführt ist!Die „FEETALK Modal Cotton Strümpfe“ werden in einem Pappumkarton (30,5x10x5cm, 396g Gesamtgewicht), als 6erPack in verschiedenen Farbvariationen (Rolle mit 1 Paar 0 9x5,5x5cm, 54g Eigengewicht) versendet. VerarbeitungEtwas irritierend ist die Materialzusammensetzung: 36-40% Modal, 36-40% gekämmte Baumwolle,16-24% Polyamid,1% Polyester,2% Elasthan,1% Lycra. Was für mich einen recht hohen Anteil (19-27%) an Kunststofffaser enthält, was nicht im Titel aufgeführt wird (Modal und Baumwolle weisen ja auf „natürliche“ Bestandteile hin).Positiv ist der sehr gute Sitz bei Schuhgröße 42 (wobei auf meinen Socken M-L steht und M (39-42) bestellt war), die Verarbeitungen (keine Nähte stehen hervor) die eher dezente Farbgebung und das (bisher) nicht vorhanden sein von Schweißfüßen! Auch nach dem ersten Waschen (40°C in der Maschine) war keine Form- oder Farbveränderung wahrnehmbar!Für die Interessierten: Bei dem Material Modal handelt es sich um synthetisch gewonnene Naturfasern aus 100% natürlicher Cellulose aus Buchenholz.
