These Flip Flops are very comfortable. They have a cushy insole and very cute colors but they run big so you may want to use an American/European shoe size conversion chart. I wear an American 6.5 and I bought a 6.5 and they fit like a 7.5. The 2nd pair I bought was a 5.5/6 and they fit perfectly.

I love these flip-flops. They are very comfortable to wear and the piece that goes in between your toes does not hurt at all. I also love the fact that they have my favorite color which is purple

These are really comfortable and last a long time. I have bought a few extra pairs in case they disappear from the market as they are my favorite flip flops.

So, as most of you already know, I'm an antique, vintage if you will. And I have been wearing thongs since I was a preteen. I have purchased countless pairs of thongs--in store and online--for the past four or so decades. Some are, well, meh. Okay. Nothing to write home about. Some are so downright uncomfortable that I can only wear them for an hour or so, before I have to take them off, due to either pain between the toes or the lack of cushioning. So, these arrived yesterday. I was mentally prepared for them either not to fit or to be uncomfortable. I love to be pleasantly surprised. I put these on and the first surprise was that they were a perfect fit. So, I stood up and walked around and the second surprise was that they felt amazing. Cushioned and comfortable. I did not take them off for hours. I walked outside, I did housework. I wore them for hours in total, unbelievable comfort. I'm back now to buy more. I don't even need more, but I don't know if they will be around when I do need more, so I am buying them now and I suggest you do the same. Had originally said that they were the "best," but had to edit the review and say "second best," because both cannot be the best. The ones I rated best: "Ampeo Women's Arch Support Flip Flops Comfortable Casual Summer Beach Thong Sandals. However, to be fair, they are both superb.

These flip flops are super comfortable

The day that I received this pair of flip flops, I needed to help a friend set up her new shop. So I decided to try these flip flops and took another pair of sandals with me that're known for their arch support and all around quality. I never took those out of my bag! 6 hours on my feet, without a chance to sit down, and the Gold Pigeon shoes felt like the sandals costing 4 X the price! I had to return the size 7 that I had thought I needed. They were huge! No problem returning them. The size 6 arrived before I could get to the P. O. to return the size 7. But it's not just the foot bed that fits and supports, and cushions as you move around, it's the part holding them on over the foot and into the thong. Not only did it hold my foot to keep the flip flop from, well, flopping and slapping the floor, the thong between the toes is the right size (not too short). It's seamlessly made of the same cumfy material as the tops (not webbing or stitched leather) and, most of all it's thick enough not to cut into my foot between my arthritic toes. And now, for the cherry on top: I ordered purple and got PURPLE!! Unlike some other manufacturers. Gold Pigeon, you are now my go to for summer sandals!!

I probably should have waited to write this review, but I just opened my the pkg. and I immediately LOVE them! They are super cute! The color (purple) is so vibrant! The imprints on inner and outer sole and strap are adorable. They look/feel very well made. I tried them on and they fit perfectly. (I wear a 7 1/2 and ordered an 8.) They are normal width and from briefly trying them on, the side-strap does not seem to rub on the inside of my ankle, (unlike the hard, narrow, classic Crocs flip-flops I ordered ...and NEED to return!) I can tell these Gold Pigeon (style 6883W) are going to be comfortable, but like I said, I've only tried them on briefly. I will update this review after I've had a chance to wear them awhile. They are fairly firm, not foamy/spongy like Oofoos. Don't get me wrong; I love my Oofoos for comfort and arch support, but they are twice as expensive and don't have much character. These are a very nice change. I am so happy with them, I am going to order the other colors! I live in Hawaii, so sandals (aka: 'slippers'), are practically the only type of shoes people wear here, as it is tradition to remove your shoes before entering any home. The tag says they are machine washable and have a shock-absorbing, ergonomic mid-sole to minimize foot fatique when wearing for long periods. They will be perfect for casual, every day wear. Mahalo!
