fan only works in sunlight

I bought for a friend who is always outside and already wears similar hats. He loves this one! The fan really gets moving when in direct sunlight!

Bought for my construction worker husband. He loved it but stopped working only after a few uses. No damage or broken pieces. 🤷‍♀️

Seller delivered item on time without any issues. I gave these to my nephew's Tree Business in South Carolina. Tree work is especially hard in the South because of the high temperatures and humidity most of the year. The 5 guys wear them all the time saying the top of their heads stay very cool.

It's a quality product and sturdy. When the sun hits the solar panel directly it works. If not, the fan does not work. I wish it had some sort of battery backup so that it would blow after the sun does not hit it.

This an overpriced gimmick. It only works in full sun. The headband is wooly and very hot. As soon as you go into the shade it becomes intolerably hot and sweaty.

Bought this hat per a request from my husband. He wears it fishing. Works great. Just what he expected and wanted.

Shipping is expensive but we got it in 3 days and it works really well in the sun (of course, no battery, so doesn't work in the shade). Large fits about 7-1/4 hat size.
