I was happy with this hair for kinky twists. I am normally not happy with Amazon hair but it turned out well. I used all 6 packs with 2 strands left over. I started separating the hair as I was getting nervous that I wouldn't have enough.I loved the color. The texture was similar to beauty store hai. If you want to separate, clip the ends first. Hair holds curls well. I am a 4 weeks out and they have dropped slightly but still looking nice. I would purchase again. Definitely recommend.

The first thing to know about this hair is that you are getting a bang for your buck. I normally spend over 100 on hair and always wishing I’d got a couple more packs or bundles especially when I’m doing braids. But here I have more than enough for a good price and can actually order an extra pack just for the hell of it. The colors are what they are supposed to be and the hair is soft and doesn’t smell. The ombre purple color blends well with dark/coily hair and feels natural like real hair (not itchy). Also very light-weight and airy.2 of the packs had a slightly unpleasant odor, but was odorless after washing with liquid soap & rinsing with boiling water (would recommend doing this for all bundles regardless of smell).Very easy and convenient to use since each bundle comes in pre-sectioned pieces with feathered ends. Was able to complete a whole head of two-strand twists with 4 of the 6 packs.Not entirely sure if this was the ToyoTress brand since it arrived in non-branded packaging, but was pretty decent hair regardless. Would definitely recommend!

I bought the 24 inch 6pack in 1B.I used 4packs. The hair is lightweight. It had a slight chemical smell but it wasn’t overwhelming. The one real negative is that it tends to get a bit tangled.When I finished twisting my hair, I braided the ends and dipped them in hot water. I love the look and the texture.

As a first time purchaser of ToyoTress Marley hair, I found it a bit rough in terms of how it feels. After soaking in ACV rinse and then treating w/ leave in conditioner, I expected the hair would softer.Over all it's easy to work with but feel rough to the touch. For this reason I would not purchase this brand again.

I absolutely love this hair. I purchased this hair to get some invisible locs. The stylist specifically requested Marley hair. I went to several beauty supply stores in the area and could not find any Marley hair. A friend suggested Amazon and I was very skeptical because sometimes descriptions can be misleading, but I didn't have any choice. The hair comes in 6 bundles per pack. This was more than enough to do my entire head. The hair did not arrive with an odor. I did pre-treat it with ACV and there was minimal cleaning as well as allowed it to soak in some warm conditioner water to soften the hair as all Marley can be scratchy to sensitive skin. After wearing the style, I was able to save the hair, by cleaning with warm ACV, shampoo, and conditioner water and the hair is as good as new. Great quality and affordability.

My color (#2) was initially out of stock when I bought it but was restocked before the estimated date. The hair is pretty soft. The ends are twisted for some of the strands but most weren’t hard to unravel. I cut the hair in half to do short jumbo twists. I used 4 or the 6 packs, 3 strands for each twists, I have about 40-45 twists in, and the twists at my nape reaches past my armpit but not quite bra strap length while the front reaches my neck/top of collarbone. I have a small to average sized head. I received a small multicolored pack of hair jewelry (unexpected surprise). Lastly, packaging was odd but effective. I’ll attach photos.Cons: The smell definitely lingers for days. I suggest you soak the hair in ACV and water or some conditioner prior to putting it in. The smell is hard to describe but whatever it is, it’s not pleasant. Not like plastic or burning... maybe wet mothballs? The hair is really nice and should be 5 stars but I took off 2 stars because I didn’t expect pack hair to smell bad and the smell lingered for days. I don’t believe only airing out the hair will be sufficient enough to get rid of it.If the seller can get rid of the smell on the hair and the price remains the same (or slightly lower), I’d definitely buy this hair again. The smell is really the dealbreaker for me since I don’t always have time to wash pack hair prior to installing it.Edit: The seller contacted me, explained what may have caused the smell, and offered to correct the issue since I was dissatisfied with my purchase. I believe they will be addressing the issue soon, so that others won't have to deal with the same problem.

Here are the important things to know about this braiding hair/Marley Hair:1. This hair is a bit scratchy and a little plastic-feeling. Definitely not the softest hair that I've used. I used this hair to make jumbo box braids and I mixed another brand of hair into my braids to add softness and a bit of color interest.2. You should definitely wash this hair before you use it. I soaked mine in apple cider vinegar and rinsed it well before using it and that made the hair a bit softer. Because it was washed clean the hair didn't irritate my scalp at all.3. The color and length seem to be true -- I purchased 22 inch hair in color 2B and the hair was very good in terms of length and color. 22 inch hair is difficult to find, so this hair was exactly what I was looking for in terms of length.Overall, this is a good braiding hair. I used 3 of the packs on my hair style, but I also mixed in other hair. I have 3 packs left. I would consider buying this hair again because I liked the length and color, but I would plan to add hair from a softer brand.

Great hair and I love the texture. It works perfect for protective styling. Especially when your twists/braids start to get a little old looking. They are need and extremely easy to attain. Most importantly, they are very light weight and easy to wash! Highly recommended in my books.

Ordered this last night, and received my package today.. all that was in there was 1 pack of hair, not 6 like the description stated. Extremely disappointed. I would give this 0 stars if that was possible.
