I'D STILL GIVE IT FIVE STARS
Since they first met it hadn't been easy for Bethany Church, an angel, and Xavier Woods, a mortal. Despite the warnings from others, Beth and Xavier's love couldn't be denied. Making a brave decision to marry, crossing the line and doing what no others have done, a group of angels, the Seven, were determined to make them pay for their actions. It all started with my daughter wanting to purchase, HALO. I have to admit the cover was intriguing, along with the synopsis. She read and loved it. Next it was my turn. I fell in love with the characters and the storyline. We waited impatiently for the next to come out, HADES, and finally, HEAVEN.If I had to pick my favorite between the three, I guess I'd have to say it's HADES, though the last half of HEAVEN is a close second (You can read my review for HALO and HADES on Amazon.). Overall I loved the trilogy. ALEXANDRA ADORNETTO is an amazing writer with a creative mind that produced an amazing storyline with three dimensional characters. The first half of HEAVEN was a tad slow, but once you reach the middle it takes off. The slow pace was tolerable due to the wonderful writing. Having read the first two books in the trilogy, there was no way I wasn't finishing the third one.I loved the surprises and twists HEAVEN took. I hadn't a clue how Xavier and Bethany's story would unfold, but I loved how MS. ADORNETTO played it out. I could never have imagined what the author would do with one of the other characters I love, Gabriel. I'm anticipating with excitement a story about Gabe and Molly.

HOLY HADES AND HEAVEN!
HOLY HADES AND HEAVEN! This conclusion to the Halo Series had me crying and laughing and screaming more times than I care to admit. What do you do when you love someone so much you are willing to sacrifice it all? Would defy Heaven and Earth to get what you want? What happens to the heart when you know deep down that you were meant for that person? These are the questions I kept asking myself when I was reading about Beth and Xavier.Heaven starts where Hades has ended and Bethany and Xavier are more in love than ever. They will fight Heaven and Earth to be together. They make the ultimate sacrifice and marry. Things only get worse from there because they were not supposed to marry. Bethany and Angel and Xavier a Human are supposed to be friends not have a relationship and marry each other. But love is unpredictable and love knows no boundaries so they decide to become one.Being married though is hard and Bethany and Xavier find that trouble is lurking close and The Sevens are rogue angels hell bent on destroying Bethany and her family. The Seven want to darken Heaven and infest it with evil. In order for Bethany to save her family she and Xavier will go into hiding and devise a plan. Once the plan is set and in motion they will fight to the death for what they believe in. Will Bethany have to go home to Heaven without Xavier for good? Will Gabriel and Ivy be hurt? What would you do for love? What would you sacrifice? Come along for the greatest ending to an EPIC series!

Just a few things...
I honestly love this book and they are one of my favourite series, but i just have a few queries... (Spoiler!)When Molly and Beth and Xavier are out having some coffee, Wade comes in and tries to take Molly to "Bible Study" But he speaks to Beth and Xavier as Beth and Xavier when they were supposed to be Ford and Laurie, brother and sister.. So im not sure if that was a mistake and if it was not, then how did Wade know about them? And I think in the end there could have been a few more chapters with Beth and Xavier because when she returns theres only one?! And Ivy and Gabriel arent even there yet! How is she supposed to talk to them or see if they still accept her? I mean of course they do, but thats besides the point. Otherwise i loved this book and i think their should be a fourth one carrying on with B and X lives.

Review on Heaven, Alexandra Adornetto
'Heaven', by Alexandra Adornetto, is the third book in her trilogy 'Halo', and is a fantastic novel filled with action, drama, and as in any good book, romance. It follows the story of Bethany Church, an angel sent to Earth to help restore the balance between good and evil, who has broken one of heaven's most important rules; Bethany has fallen in love with a human. 'Heaven' draws you in as you see the dramas unfold page by page, watching Bethany and Xavier in their struggle to be together. Full of heartrending twists and action filled scenes, we watch as Bethany and Xavier, with the help of their two heavenly guardians Gabriel and Ivy, try to battle the wrath of both heaven and hell. We see their love tested time and time again, and see it grow as they strive for a life together that is not threatened by higher powers. For lovers of paranormal-romance, this book is a must read.

This book was awesome! Best book I have read in along time! Characters are very real. Even minors ones were well written. So read this series you won't regret it!

I read the rest of the trilogy and was a little disappointed in the beginning of book three because it felt ...
I'll have to admit... the beginning of this book is very slow. I read the rest of the trilogy and was a little disappointed in the beginning of book three because it felt a little like the first book. But as soon as it picks up... you can't put it down! The middle and end of the story left you flipping pages quickly as you flew through the riveting story. I only wished it continued on a little longer.Oh... and a note to the author.... I'd love to read a side story about what happens to Ivy & Gabriel ... or a back story on Raphael.

Really good read
The Halo series I thought were really good books to read. The first book 'Halo' was a little slow getting into it but it was worth it for the last 14 chapters of the book. I thought the second book 'Hades' went stright onto it and I loved it couldn't put it down. I liked the fact that Alexandra used the archangel Gabriel and made him a little human. I liked the idea of Beth being an angel and taken to hell. I do wish that she was a little more traumatised by the whole thing. She was kidnapped and away from her family. She was strong but her venerability was never really played on. I wanted Beth to be more scared, more emotionally traumatised and the only person that she could turn to for comfort was Jake her kidnapper, but it doesn't happen like that at all. Still a really good read and worth reading.`Heaven' I did enjoy. It got me hocked right from the beginning and I couldn't put it down. As much as the books were about Beth and Xavier I found myself more hooked on the idea of Molly and Gabriel getting together. I felt that the author could have used Molly a little and more on her story would have been great. The ending of the book was good, the only problem I have with it is there is still a few questions that are unanswered. The author didn't do an Epilogue to round off the unanswered questions and I still feel they should be answered. I was really hoping that there would be another book to this series because there is still so much that can happen but sadly this is the last book and I guess I have to make up my own mind about rounding of the characters.Still the book is worth reading and I really did enjoy it. I couldn't put them down It took me 10 days to read all three books and do think they are worth reading.

A FANTASTIC BOOK AND A MUST READ!
Review 7*******This is the third and final book in the Halo Trilogy. I LOVED IT!Bethany is an angel, sent to Earth to save human's from the influence of Hell. She is a fantastic character. She has literally been to Hell and back. She has faced many things, but this may be the hardest trial yet.Xavier is also a fantastic character. He has a faith that seems unshakable, but he too has to face loss and danger. I felt for him as events unfolded. This book starts where the second book leaves off. I'm not going to give any spoilers, as I feel it's unfair to those who have not read the series. However, I will say that it's definitely earth shaking! When I first picked up Halo, I didn't know what a fantastic, emotional and adventurous ride I would be embarking on! This story has made me laugh and cry in equal measure. I'm a sucker for romance, and this book has it in spades. The first two books in this YA series were focused on the building relationship between Bethany and Xavier. This third book is slightly mature, as they marry and seal their union. I found the scene in the forest to be tastefully done and not erotic or explicit in any way.The ending was quite emotional, and I found myself teary-eyed but happy.I will miss these characters, but I hope that Alexandra will be writing a book about Gabriel, as I would love to follow his story. I was very touched with his sacrifice for Bethany, and cried when he allowed the demons to hurt him. I will be on the look out for more books by this author in the future. I highly recommend this book, and series, if you are looking for a wonderful YA romance that will grab you from the first page, and not leave you alone even after finishing the book! - Lynn Worton (WaAR)

A good ending
I enjoyed the characters in this and the drama that occurred throughout the book. I was intrigued to read more an managed to finish this in a matter of hours. I did tear up at one point during the book and the characters really did pull on my heart.

Heaven :)
This is a really good book and really follows on with the story of 'Halo' well. I liked the ending and i think that Alexandra Adornetto has done some very good things and there are lot's of surprises to find out about along the way. Everything you can think of happens and you really get taken away by the love that Xavier and Bethany have for eachother. Yet another book from Alexandra and huge praises. I don't see why some people think it isn't as good as the other two as it definitely is!! a MUST READ if you have read the other two books!! xx

Wow!
(review by Cat, not Phil)A superb series, utterly readable. My 12 year-old daughter said these were 'must-reads' and she is right! Strong storylines and characters, beautifully written with adventurous vocabulary. I hope this young author has plenty more ideas ready!
