This kit is very complete, but I like it for another reason - They put it in a plastic case, and the case has extra room in it if you want to add your own supplies. It's not too bulky either and is easy to pack along with you if you are camping, hiking or whatever.The supplies inside are really great quality too. For instance, the fire starter rod is very large, comes with the striker which is also generously sized and they are corded together. Lots of kits will skimp on this and give you something very small and hard to work with. Also, the flashlight and compass were especially nice quality.I'm very pleased with this set. The only addition they could have made would be maybe fishing line and hooks, but as I said - there is room in this box to add your own if you desire. I think to mine I'll probably add a lighter and some tinder type material.

For those of you who go hiking, traveling, or just like fantasizing you are a zombie hunter or something, this kit is PERFECT. Personally, I go hiking with the family or friends and like being prepared. This kit comes in this nice compact yet still spacious container (easily fit into a backpack), its divided into these neat little sections which keeps everything organized, every indivudal piece is wrapped nicely, and well made. My favorite is the compass and knife. The compass has a little button to close and open it in its little holder, and the knife is sharp and sturdy. Although, I think a downside is that there is no manual or "information" guide which explains its contents (for those not as experienced indivduals) who may not know the use for everything.

I ordered this kit to go on adventure trips with my kids. Although shows like Man vs Wild did influence the choice of activities we decided to do, this kit provided the support we needed to do all the activities. All the items included in the kit have the right selection and right use at outdoors.

This is a steal, only 15 bucksThis could easily go for 50.00!!!My boy scout son loved it when he recieved it, everything was very nicely arranged and had a spot for everything in the case, very good gift for any outdoors man, hunter or scout.way beyond my expectation by far!!!

We picked up this kit as a back up kit to our normal survival kit. We keep one in our off road truck and one in our camper as a backup. This kit has everything you need to survive in an emergency situation. It's one of those products you hope to never have to use but would pay for itself the 1st time you need it.

My daughter and I have been having a lot of fun with this. She’s 8yrs old and was able to start a fire and cut a little tree down all on her own. The compass is what my daughter was super excited for, time to head out and find an adventure.

Super kit. We gave to grandchildren for Christmas & everyone else was mad because they didn't get one! Fantastic quality and price. The compass by itself was worth the price. We tried to get more but they were out.

Bought this for my daugther’s boyfriend who I have no idea what to get every year for Christmas. I was a bit nervous about it but the items in it were sturdy and he loved it! He’s a hunter and a firefighter and said it will come in handy. So it was a perfect gift for him.
