Love this.
UPDATE March 26, 2018: Three years of making 2-3 quarts of tea a day, every workday. Three years of going in and out of the microwave because my office water jug's red handle doesn't quite decant water hot enough for proper brewing. Three years of going strong without a single problem, ever. I have another one at home now, and I've given a couple as small gifts. This is a perfect and dependable workhorse in my office tea garden (ordinary workspace with lots of plants and a variety of nice teas, because why not?) and I'm sure I'll replace it if anything ever happens to it. Short of being lost, though, I can't imagine what would damage it at this point. It's been through it all.March 20, 2015 Original Review: Cleans very easily - I can rinse it fully clean at work. Holds up to 2 teaspoons of loose tea with room for expansion and water flow, so it makes anything from a small teacup to my big desk mug at once. I've used it 2-3 times a day for about 10 days now, and I like how easily and securely it goes together. "Cute" is up to your eye, but it looks exactly like the picture. The drip tray is fully adequate, necessary, and also easy to rinse clean.

Perfect In All Ways!!
I love this infuser! I had always either brewed tea bags or Keurig cups for tea, until I received organic loose green tea from a relative that had been to Japan. They enjoyed drinking the tea loose in water, but to me the tea was too weak as I prefer a stronger flavor. After reviewing several infusers I chose the TeaLeaf Infuser because of it's length. I drink from large coffee cups and worried the cute variations (person, manatee, etc) would result in the infuser coming out of the water sooner than the TeaInfuser would (as I drink my tea).Clean up is a breeze, the silicon is great quality. It seals perfectly around the infuser. And I love the little rest it has when I, ready to remove the infuser. I highly recommend this infuser!

So Cute!!
So, this is adorable. I use it at work for loose leaf tea and everyone comments about how adorable it is. And you know what, it's pretty good most of the time.... but I think that maybe the holes should be a bit smaller so that the tea is less likely to float out? It's easy to fill and for me it's the perfect size for the amt of tea I want. I hold and fill the stem part and then put the metal part over the top. Works well.

Excellent design and Utility, Just a Tad Overpriced
I love this infuser. I've had mine for a few weeks now and the silicone doesn't stain, I LOVE that it has a saucer to place it on after steeping so I don't get tea stains everywhere. The metal hasn't rusted. Keep in mind the holes are slightly too big for finely ground loose teas like Irish and English Breakfast. It is better suited toward medium looseleaf teas. I do think this product's price point is about $3 too high. It is a steeper and will need replaced eventually.Over all, recommended.

Great tea infuser.
Great little tea infuser. Material rarely makes it through the holes, which is great to avoid chunky tea. And the long handle makes it easy to stir around. It is dishwasher safe. And the little dish it comes with is a nice holder - much more manageable than a full plate / sloppy napkin.

It is very nice to look at
It is very nice to look at, but it is useless for finer loose leaf teas since the holes are too big and the tea particles escape into your drink. I guess you can only use them for large leaf teas.

Four Stars
works great for most teas. some teas that require longer soaking - not that great for.

If you have fine tea it will seep through the holes. Get a fine mesh steeper instead.
