I had failed an inspection on my back flow preventer. Since the unit was over 10 years old, I chose to replace the complete valves. I likely could have gotten away with simply replacing the gasket/seal but chose to order the whole valve to be safe. Quick install. Passed re-inspection.I did have to buy a large crescent wrench to open the valve body.

I didn't think it would resolve my issue but I am leak free now! Gave it 4 stars because it was a bit pricey!

My 12 year old FEBCO 825 Y backflow preventer was leaking. The low pressure poppet valve had cracked. I replaced it and the relief diaphragm (may have been un-necessary, but a "while I was at it" type job). Very easy repair that corrected the problem.

Expensive, but OEM parts. Slightly cheaper than full replacement.
