Ballistic Tough Jacket Maxx with Holster for iPhone 6 Plus 5.5-Inch - Retail Packaging - Black/White

i've had this case for two days and I love it. The edges and especially the four corner edges are thick rubber which should protect the worst of falls. The two sides that you grip as well as the back is a smooth plastic which actually makes holding the phone more comfortable and easily gripped. The plastic sides in the back also make sliding this in and out of your pockets extremely easy. So all in all it has the protection for the worst of falls, Great styling, comfortable to hold onto and slides easily in and out of pockets. I would have given it five stars however the supplied plastic screen protector didn't fit right. As hard as I tried no matter how I seated The screen cover it wouldn't fit flush over the screen it would bow a bit towards the middle. However I didn't want a plastic screen protector anyways as I already have a clear stick on protector anyway. Overall an awesome case. Just wish that they offered more colors than all black and black and white. If you need a case that's extremely protective isn't too big comfortable to hold, etc. this is the case. And believe me I've tried pretty much every case on the market. Highly recommended for the price

This just came in. I like the case, more or less, and the screen protector was actually a surprise. However, the screen protector is too thick to feasibly use with the phone; I've had trouble using my touch screen with it on. I've had great experience with ballistic cases before, which is why I turned to this one. I ended up buying a different screen protector, but the holster broke on the first day of use. Snapped on my seat belt when I got out of the car, even thought the phone was seated near my back.Two months later, and the case is still rock solid. The glass screen protector I bought separate is chipped along the edges where it interacts with the case. No biggie there. I haven't found a holster that is compatible with the case, but the case is awesome enough that I use it anyways -- I chose this one over an Otterbox that came with a holster. I would give this five stars, if the screen protector and holster included weren't so substandard. I would rather have left those out than get such poor quality.

LOVE Ballistic cases! As others always say, the plastic screen is junk that attracts dust that WILL destroy your glass, so either toss it and use a tempered glass (what I do) or toss it and use a plastic film protector. Either way, if you work for a living the clear front is useless. The rest of the case is in my opinion (having owned both) far better than the brand named after a small water animal. I also wish they made bright colors. As my ID implies, I have a LOT of electronics. Too many blacks, whites, and grays. Need more oranges, reds, and bright colors. Drop wise, Ballistic Tough Jacket Maxx is the SINGLE BEST CASE PERIOD. The more expensive brands just dont have the corner protection that these have, and having been a former glass worker, the corner is ALWAYS the weakest part of your screen!

I've been a fan of Ballistic Cases for iPhones for a while; I even liked them more than Otterbox. I had one for each of our 4 previous phones and they were lifesavers. I bought this one for my most recent iPhone and at first, I liked it. It is slimmer than the bulky ones we used to have. It still feels protective without being so thick. I'm knocking off two stars because the screen protector is very, very thick and it makes it hard to use the touch screen. This really annoys me. I've had a very difficult time answering phone calls, sometimes missing them, simply because the screen isn't reading my swipe. Sometimes I tap with more force and it still doesn't do anything. It's a hit or miss with the screen protector. Today, after owning this for about a month, I finally had it and removed the screen protector. I still feel that it'll protect the phone from falls because the corners are well protected. I will just buy a thinner screen protector. The one included is a full millimeter thick and I hate it.

I loved my ballistic case for my iPhone 4s I had tried griffin and otter box but always came back to a ballistic so when I upgraded I wanted to stick to what I loved. When I saw the way the case is made for the iPhone plus I was a little hesitant but so far I love it. It does not add a ton of extra bulk/ weight to the phone the only thing I do not like is the old case had a protecter over the speaker ports to keep them protected this one does not. I have dropped my phone I went to sit it on top of my dresser and hit the edge and it fell to the floor about 5ft drop. Phone still works no problems whatsoever. The case is somewhat of a pain to get off if you have to remove it for some reason but putting on isn't to bad. So far I have been very satisfied with this case.

This is my second time ordering this exact same case. I wish there were more color options, but this is by far the best protective case I've ever had. The holster is very solid and I wear it clipped to my tank to while I inline skate and it stays very secure. The only reason I ordered a second one is because I got a bit overly rough when removing my phone from the holster and I broke the piece that holds the phone secure into the holster, but this was after almost THREE years of having this case. I believe that ballistic actually has a lifetime warranty but this was a good price so I just bought a new one. I will continue to buy ballistic cases in the future.

I have used top named cases. This is my opinion. I have use this company's product for years. Quality control is above expectations. Strong, well made, protective, and good looks. Great customer service. When I need another one, I will use the same brand. I do wish they would make one that would work in a more formal setting.

When it arrived, it was bulkier then I expected. As I got used to it, I like it better. This is a rigged case that provides a lot of protection, that means there needs to be plenty of cushioning. I really like the black and white contrast. They only thing I don't like is it's difficult to remove from my pockets due to the grippy rubber bumpers. But these rubber bumpers prevent my phone from sliding around on the car dash so it's a trade off.
