Saves using the sliding bevel
Well constructed tool. Sturdy metal build with clear concise marking, the locking nuts are large enough for anyone with sausage fingers. It's an ideal tool with the ability to measure several angles in one placing, I'm used to using a sliding bevel so it's not an issue to me to mark and transfer measurements but it does save time and you get the bonus of seeing a physical shape before cutting or marking your workpiece, hence illuminating potential errors before you make them. I personally prefer the more robust construction as appose to the plastic versions but it won't be travelling in my toolbox which tends to get buried in the van from time to time.

a bit of a gimmick buy
Looks good on advertising. Not sure how to even set it straight without spending a considerable time on it. Sure it comes handy if you are working on something that the screws do not get in the way of.

Will prove useful
I don't know why, but I love 'rulers' of all sorts. This one, however, seems easy to use and useful too. It's well made and I like the 'no measuring' measuring on angles to cut.
