Wonderful Ideas and recipes
This is a fabulous book! you'll learn so much about lemons and what to do with them. And amazing recipes! I never heard of "Preserved lemons" but I have them now, thanks to the recipe for making them. I have two lemon trees that are always loaded with lemons and now I know lots of ways of using them! These two trees are in large pots on rollers. They live in my sunroom in the winter and outside in the summer and I have owned them for 20 years.

Best of the Lemon Books!
This is the queen of all lemon books, I love it so much I bought copies for gifts and every recipient has loved this book. Ms. Logbotham presents her recipes with a charming and sometimes humorous narrative, but the main point is that these recipes are fabulous. I have made the ricotta pancakes many, many times for my family and for guests, and always have a bottle of limoncello using the recipe from her book. If you love lemons, this is the book for you. I also have her Luscious Lemon Desserts and the Old-Fashioned Lemon Sugar Cookies are, hands down, the best lemon cookies I've ever eaten. You will enjoy this Lemon Zest book. It's a winner!

One of my all time favorites
Lemon Zest is one of my all time favorite cookbooks. The recipes are packed with flavor. I like this cookbook, because it is filled with recipes for the food that I like to eat, flavorful, light, & healthy. I'm always on the look out for extra copies of this book, because it is one of my favorite gift-giving cookbooks. In particular, the hollandaise sauce, and the baked artichokes are easy to prepare and incredibly flavorful. Hands down my favorite recipe is the fennel and green olive risotto, in fact this recipe is my base for all risotto's I make. I absolutely love this book, and it is mainstay in my cookbook library.

Great creative book
This book has recipes for lemon vodka, and even better lemoncello...$25 bottle liquor imported from Italy. I made it with $7 vodka...and wow! Everyone I know has tried it and loved it. It has recipes for making preserved lemons, Greek-style marinated lemons (freaking delicious) and lemon sugar. All of which I have made recently. If you don't even want to make the dishes in this book, these few things are worth their weight in gold and can be used to spice up anything you make. I love this book.

great book, not what I was expecting
So far, all the recipes I have tried have been fabulous, Ms. Longbotham has put together another winner for me! I do also have her Luscious Lemon Desserts book, which is great, but I found some recipes from that book to be duplicated in this one. I was also expecting a bit more. This book is filled with great sounding recipes, but few within each category (such as vegetables, meats, desserts, etc.) so I was left wanting more. I guess that just shows how tempting all the recipes sound! I would have given this five stars but for the duplicates I came across and would definitely recommend this book to anyone with a love of lemon. We also loved the Lemon Fettuccine and have been fans of the Lemon Curd since we bought the dessert book!
