Remixes 2

I really like the first disc. Sometimes remixes are unexciting, like the Phillip Glass and Jean Michel Jarre remixes I just heard, but with these Morricone remixes there is lots of very compelling music. His music seems to lend itself well to this treatment. It is worth buying for the first disc alone. The second disc also has a smaller number of good tracks, but goes wider afield and may have something quirky but interesting for you, if you are that sort of person.To help you get an idea of my tastes, I also like Tosca, Nicola Conte, Hotel Costes #2-5, Marc Moulin, Koop, Dzihan and Kamien...

Im disappointed with remixes volume. 2. It just drifts away from Morricone even more and i found it no different from all this "lounge" adaptations we have today.I bought this Cd for the Remix of Stassi dell`oro which is the music played in the Nike commercial FATE directed by David Fincher. If you can acquire a used version for less than 7 dollars, then i say its worth it.Remixes from "My name is nobody" and "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly are not bad either"

Everybody knows Ennio Morricone, especially the themes he wrote for some great Westerns. Great artists gave a new dimension to these masterpieces.If you like electronic music, you will like this cd. It blew me away. Same story as Vol.1, but is it is even better.

I can never get enough of one of the most inovative composers in our lifetime. I am glad that Amazon keeps many titles for purchase. If there is ever a concert video let me know and I will purchase it. Classic Ennio with mixes and beats. Who could ask for more!

Volume 1 of The iconic Italian Cinematic legend of the Western film Soundtrack , Ennio Morricones remixes for Compost records I found lukewarm, however Volume 2 fires on all cylinders and mixes, and extends the MOR Easy listening catologue to the bizarre and different. Despite most tracks having very little in common with the originals, I found this release of superb remixes shared similarities to Jazzanovas remixes to Schemas Break n Bossa. An international Dj's feast ranging from Hird, Domu, Moonstar to Tom Middleton. The atmosphere is from jazzy. latin rifts to broken beats and downtempoe house. This is an excellent down to mid tempoe lounger. Compost records please re release this ! Compost isnt it time to remix the great Michael Nyman's catalogue.

Interessante prosecuzione del volume 1, questa volta articolata su due cd, con molte più tracce, molte delle quali (non tutte) tuttavia difficilmente riconducibili a Morricone. Può essere consigliato a tutti quegli appassionati di uno stile di remix fortemente votato alla sperimentazione elettronica più spinta, che come in questo caso tende a fare scomparire traccia del motivo originale.Una nota di encomio relativamente al venditore, di grande serietà, che a fronte di un ritardo di spedizione - a lui NON imputabile - ha provveduto ad un rimborso parziale dell'importo.
