What an awesome baseline for anyone either curious to know more about the gods, studying theology, or starting out on the pagan path! Very detailed. It has a companion book called “the witches’ goddess” as well.

Great book! Should be mandatory for all Wiccan study.

Stewart Farrar was a genius and like his other books, this book is genius - I'm have most of his books and I'm planning to buy the rest... don't miss out on this as well as 'The Witches' Goddess' also by him...

The Farrars' rituals are too talky and some of the historical claims are outdated, but this remains a classic of the Craft and one of the best books on the Wiccan God.

massive confusion as it did indeed arrive, but because im ready some thing else it was put on the shelf i order so many things i remember what i ordered by what it looked like.as you can see great cover here what i got it didn't inspire me to read itguess i will at some point, just disappointedlike when seller see what's pictured, may been in the small print different book covers but i didn't not see it
