So, You Want to be a Man?: What Preachers Don't Preach and Fathers Don't Teach Paperback – June 25, 2013

I bought this to get a clearer understanding on the mind/heart of a man after God's heart and to my surprise this book actually inspired me in my walk as a woman after God's heart. This book is truly amazing. It is relateable, it brings you to a clear understanding. It is honest, it is pratical and it is very inspirational and encouraging. I love the Lindseys and how they do not back down from the truth or compromise the word of God. I love that they stand bold on the gospel and that they do not shy away from sharing the truth in a fear of offending people. The truth will offend nobody what, so suck it up and get a good book such as this one from someone who is actually after the Lord and not after your money.

Cornelius Lindsey is definitely a guy to look up to. This book was a life changer for me. I met him at Tuskegee University and I have an autographed copy. I took notes, highlighted, and really bonded with this book. Thank you sir! P.S. Great book to send to a mentee.

I liked his So, You want to be Married book. He does a good job here of what he believes is a real man. I do feel his approach is too peachy versus conviction of his own actions which maybe a turn off for some.
