These caps which are in the shape of the tweezer tip are made from Polyethylene and are used to protect the tweezers tips from damage.

Works perfectly but kind of expensive
They work perfectly and are suited to cutting down to size as they have concentric rings along the cone. This allows you to customize the size of each to the tweezers you're using it for and there's actually a very helpful feature.The tip of the counters open rather than close to like most of the caps that come with my tweezers but it still protects the fragile tips on expensive tweezers. They are just very expensive for what they are ( The price was cheap but the shipping was extortive) but I saw no other solution at the time. I have several pairs of expensive electronic tweezers that really need to be protected. Going forward I will use shrinkwrap tubing cut to size. It is about 100 times cheaper and does the same job.

Tweezer protection cap
These are fine for some of my tweezers, but some they just don't stay on. It has to be a long skinny one for it to work. I have several kinds.
