good monitor, but not the best due to many little niggles
The things that attracted me to this product were the 1 ms reaction time and 75 Hz refresh rate, the size for the price, and the Acer name...in that order. Just a note so that others might learn from my experience: I thought that higher refresh rate and fast 1 ms response time would "fix" my tearing problem; no, that's more how your video hardware is driven, and you should look for ways to tweak the driver (Option "TearFree" "on" in xorg.conf in my case). The reasons a star was deducted:The controls are too close together. They could use another millimeter or two inbetween each button/switch.The power switch should be farther away still from the rest of the controls, like at least 3 times the distance, in order to very clearly distinguish it from the other controls. When I was setting the monitor up, I don't know how many times I would turn it off instead of choosing an option or adjusting a value. But no doubt some of that could be attributed to the close spacing mentioned above. The power saving state is denoted by slowly blinking the (blue) LED. I know some may say it's not much, but it wastes your time by waiting to see whether the LED stays off or on. When I look at my other monitor, it is clearly off, green, or yellow, INSTANTLY telling me the state. I know I said/wrote one of the reasons for choosing this was price, but seriously, would it cost that much more for two LEDs into a light pipe, or a dual color LED, and the requisite driver circuitry and controller programming? All the input connectors are horizontal. When you think about it, due to gravity this causes a constant small torque on each connector, especially if there are ferrite beads in your cables (ergo extra mass). If the inputs, like on many other monitors, were oriented vertically, the stress would be equal on all connections. Also think, accidentally step on cable...stresses connectors or tips monitor, where other monitors the cable just pops out. It just depends on the geometry of your installation, and if you're a klutz like me.Most other monitors have a standard IEC C13 power cable/C14 socket. This has a C5 cable plugging into a power brick with a C6 socket plus another cable from the power brick to a right angle coaxial/barrel plug. So instead of just routing one power cable, now you have to think about where the power brick needs to rest. Granted, for many installations, it'll just rest on the floor directly beneath the monitor, but considerations for this may need to be made. Plus there is the electrical engineering principle that lower part count means higher reliability; with double the power connectors, this is theoretically less reliable. I suppose this could be balanced with, if the power supply ever fails, it's not integrated into the monitor, and can be swapped out independently. At the same time, if you ever disconnect this power brick/PSU (and perhaps move them independently) you can't just plug in any old IEC C13 cable you have lying around, you have to have the PSU, and the IMO less common C5 cable. In other aspects, this is a fine monitor. I find the stand and base especially appealing for some reason.

Love it! But it's hard to find replacement power cord.
I've had this monitor since 2019 and it's worked extremely well, about to order a second one actually. I never had any issues with it until my cat ate the power cord a few months back. I've had the hardest time finding a replacement cord.

Great To A Point
The selling point for this is obviously the response and refresh rate for the price. You honestly do absolutely get what you expect with this monitor. Its crisp, its bright, and it is a vast improvement over the previous monitors.Pros:Radeon Sync is absolutely incredible, no sense in pushing something harder than you will be able to notice right?Colors are crisp, warms are warm and cools are cool with a perfect saturation out of the boxThin and lightweight for movement or to mount to an arm systemGreat refresh rate and amazing response timeCons:Theres a "Halo" effect around the edges of the screen. Not really noticeable while functioning, but dark games reveal it badlyThe stand appears to be a little off kilter? it wobbles on a flat level desk so I had to prop it up a littleVery limited on the inputs you can have with this. While no one needs a ton, we should have more than two (one being VGA)

good lost one star because too bright even when set low

Early review. More to follow.
My first impression is that the monitor could be brighter, but I will edit this review over time. I really wanted to just give a tip for anybody like me having trouble getting the stand to fully insert into monitor. I didn't want to break anything, so I was frustrated as heck not being able to push the stand mast all the way in. Then it occurred to me: Vaseline. I wiped tiny amounts on the metal tabs and without a huge amount of pressure the mast finally slipped into place!Update: I still think the monitor could be brighter, but it definitely is an upgrade to my Acer 24 1080P I've had several years. As I hoped the improvement in videos quality and detail in Halo 2 MCC for example is immediately apparent. I would say this a nice upgrade, but not a huge one. I didn't pay the price for a huge upgrade, but I'm satisfied. It's very thin and the bezels are are very thin.

Works great, slightly dark image
Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good price monitor. The pros in my opinion outweigh the cons. If you're willing to pay a little more for a 27 inch monitor but not wanting to break the bank, I would go with this.Pros: Ultra slim, it doesn't take up much space at all Has audio if needed Decent picture quality (slightly blurry but that just might be because my 2nd monitor is 4k) Games look great and the response time feels nonexistent Super lightweightCons: Height is not adjustable Sound quality is poor The base can be easily slipped off the monitor due to lack of locking mechanism. It kind of just sits in there and that's it. Super lightweight (It feel like if you hold it a little too tight it will just snap)

Big Screen ** excellent 3rd party vendor Gizmoble
I purchased this screen from Gizmoble thru Amazon. Unfortunately the screen does not have versa ability (unable to mount on an arm)... I only took the unit out of the box , and then put it right back once I saw it couldn't be mounted.I can confirm the screen is much bigger than I expected! Looked super sleek and clean. I can't comment on anything more... Except that Gizmoble was a fabulous vendor to work with - especially during this point in history; the Covid-19 stay at home pandemic. *Everything is sold out & no ETA of when things will be back* .. Gizmoble is in TX (I'm in CT) and also closed down for social distancing. But despite the shutdown they kept excellent communication the whole time and refund was promptly issued when item arrived in TX.Thank you Gizmoble! Stay healthy
