Pioneer Pet3 Pack of T-Shaped Filter for Food, Water and Serene Fountain

I like how easy these filters are to change out each month. They each have little suction cups that stick to the bottom of the swan fountain. They filter the water very well.

I have a couple different fountains but the swan style one is really popular with the cats that like to drink out of the tap. Overall it's pretty easy to clean. I use qtip swabs to clean out the disassembled pump and the inside plastic ridges, and a pipe cleaner or one of long thin flexible brushes designed to clean out stainless steel drinking straws to clean the swan faucet part.I found that you can get longer use out of the filters by taking them apart and sanitizing them. You can pry the plastic filter casing apart with a thin blade--there is a little bag with charcoal and a fiber filter as well as the little sponge. I power rinse them, then throw them in a pot of boiling water. This will kill any mold or bacteria. Then reassemble the filter.It's important to get your fountains on a cleaning schedule because they will accumulate hair, biofilm, bacteria and possibly mold. Dirty water will turn your cat off to drinking which negates the purpose of having a fountain. Whenever I buy a new filter I read the reviews to get an idea of how easy they are to clean and to get cleaning hints from users.

These work great in the Swan Neck cat water fountain. I have had no problem with these and they keep my cat’s water clean and fresh.

I don't know how much fresh, filtered water has to do with my cats' health, but it can't be a bad thing. These are great. you rinse out the filter whenever you clean the fountain and change the water, and replace it whenever it shows signs of clogging. that's it. it works, the cats like it. I like it

Paid for 3x boxes of 3 filters but received only one box. Have returned it and am currently awaiting a refund. But do I risk it and try again?? I need filters!
