On Tour with Leonard Cohen

Very nice intro and essay at front followed by some lovely informal images 'on tour'. Great stuff for a LC fan like me.

Beautifully produced photo book documenting six years of life on the road with a legend. Sure, some shots are wobbly or out of focus but this adds to the intimacy of the moment. These are behind the scenes pictures, a very personal photo diary of touring with Leonard Cohen and his troupe. If you saw even one of his concerts during the epic 2008-14 tour, this book is a must. Anyone wanting carefully shot portraits should look elsewhere.I have knocked off a star because the captions are at the end of the book rather than on the pages themselves. All the way through I was bemoaning the lack only to find them at the finish.

A real treat brings back lovely memories

Ok, first off this is a book about being on tour with LC and not a book about LC on tour. It contains pictures of airport lounges, hotel rooms, bathrooms, a cat on some steps and two pictures of Sharon Robinson's feet. It contains no images of LC actually performing though there are some of sound checks .The pages of the book are very high quality paper though the photography itself is of a very iffy standard to say the least. The picture on the front cover promises more than the book actually delivers.

What a disappointment - a collection of out of focus photographs and a page and a half of writing to introduce them. Not many photos were of Leonard Cohen - not at all what I expected. A nice cover to the book though.

Y no, simplemente es un libro de fotografías, de un interés desigual , que hizo Sharon durante la gira.

Great photos. Perfect set of pictures to have on my cofee ottemon. It's fun to look at all his different moods! Leonard CohenIs my hero! This is really a good present, but we are keeping it. Sometimes it is just fun to look at the pictures and think about what an interesting life Leonard has had while living for his passion. Music is an amazing gift. Song writing is a gift. Now, he writes books that we love. It was natural that photography would be included. We have many little books that we love about him or that he wrote. This one has amazing pictures.
