Had this for a month. Worked great at first but now it’s quite the job to get it to fully open a can. The rollers have gotten loose and not as sharp already. Not my best purchase from Amazon by any means. My advise: spend a little more on a nicer can opener that’ll last you a while.

Didn’t last long. Handle and spring broke off while opening a can. I’m not rough with it. My can of tomatoes was a quarter open when the handle just popped off.

It feels weird to write a rave review of a can opener but this one deserves it. Easy to use, opens cans without me having to fight it, smooth as butter. Every time I see this can opener I want to tell it it’s doing a great job but it’s a can opener and it doesn’t care how I feel.

Not sure why Amazon allows the claim that this is stainless steel. Some part of it might be, but mine is rusting on its turning knob and around one of the wheels.

After a few washes, the hinges and smaller parts start to rust. Still works fine, but defeats the purpose of 'stainless steel'.

Ordered this piece of junk in August of 2018, it's now April of 2019 and I just ordered a new one this morning! First, the handle is very hard to turn, next it skips, so portions of the can lid are open and portions are not. Sometimes I have to go around 3 or 4 or MORE times to get the whole lid opened. I also noticed this piece of junk is more money than an OXO opener that is $13! I usually read the reviews, I didn't this time and boy, did I pay for it! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PIECE OF JUNK!!!

This review is for the can opener...not the garlic press. I bought the can opener and love it. I don't know why this says garlic press.

I bought this can opener after reading some reviews and hearing how great it was. IT IS NOT!!! Right from the start I tried to open a few jars and it was extremely hard. The Can Opener is pretty cheap and keeps slipping and makes it really hard to open up any kind of jar. I finally gave up after like the 5th time I tried opening a jar and finally bought a kitchen aid can opener that works 100 times better.
