When we ran out of 3M tape I looked on Amazon and found 3M had a 4 star rating at best. I noticed Double Bond had 5 star ratings so I ordered. The 3M allowed paint to bleed through, the double bond created the straight line in the photo. I was very impressed the seller sent me a letter offering a refund if I was not happy. The green tape works, but it will pull paint off if you are not careful. I have and use green tape for some applications.The reason the Double Bond works better than the green tape is DB prevents paint bleed without the danger of pulling paint off. Look at the photo, my wife did the painting and she ran her finger over the tape once or twice. For the quality and price DB cannot be beaten, costs less and works much better.I have never gotten a letter from a seller before, that really impressed me that he stood behind his product that much.

Luckily I tested paint bleed through before I used them for a painting project. They don't stop paint. At least not latex paint. Not surprising since it's very thin. Figured I use them for other projects that need temporary tape to hold things up/on. It barely sticks to any surface. And I've tried a few. Even taping up small squares of super thin plastic seem to "heavy" for it. Back to Scotch.

This is good tape for around windows and other uses. However, this tape is thinner than the 3M brand. I compared both when using to separate colors on a wall. This tape tore while being removed from the wall. I find the 3M brand is better when needing a border on a wall.Update: I actually used this tape quite extensively on my project. While it is still thinner than 3M brand it actually worked very well during my project.

I've been using this tape to restore my typewriter cases. I have several portable typewriters (Remington, Smith-Corona, Underwood, Royal, Olympia, Hermes) from the 1930s to 1960s. And their cases need to be patched up and re-painted. Ive been using the tape to tape up the brass fittings that are on the cases during the priming and re-painting process. I don't want the brass fittings to be primed and re-painted; hence, the need to tape these up. The tape works like a charm! It doesn't bleed through. After I finish with the cases, I plan to restore my old rusty Oliver typewriter from 1918. Since it has these fancy, delicate decals on it, I plan to use the tape to cover up the decals as I repaint the typewriter. With it restored and shined up, it should last another 100 yrs! :D

Particles cheap for purchase but yet does not stick very well have to press down really hard and comes off easily Forest after you put it up there you have to put it back up there because it falls off but other than that it does his job what it's supposed to do once the sticks one has actually sticks. It does its job it was cheap but it was fine thank God I was a small project in a small room because it would never have worked for a bigger room

The strength or stickiness is not as strong compared to other brands I tried. And the width is smaller, which isn't as convenient sometimes.Update: I used the same amount and technique to hold a exact same product on wall and it fell down. The tape is not sticky enough sadly compared to the other brand I used. Very disappointed as this happened many times already. Such a waste.

We actually used this for our office Christmas party to put a path on the floor for people to follow. It went down easy, stood up to people walking and scuffing over it and came up quickly and easily. I'm going to use the rest to protect my car paint job when I clean my headlights. I would buy it again!

This is the worst product I have ordered from Amazon. It is impossible to unroll. I got big clumps of tape when trying to unroll it. When I could get down to a single layer, the tape was so thin, it was useless. Maybe I didn't know what I was doing to get it unrolled. in the end it was just a mess
