Works well for a budget friendly roller.
After putting the new wider wheels and tires on my Civic, I knew that fender rolling was going to be in my future. I was torn on whether or not to buy the Eastwood tool or finding a cheaper alternative. I like buying good tools, but I knew this tool would likely hang on the wall for years between uses. After reading reviews for every fender roller from the $30 option all the way up to the Eastwood roller, I decided to buy this one. The roller was triple boxed from Amazon (Amazon box, another cardboard box, then the actual product package). The roller was already assembled, minus the black locking knob and the extendable portion with the wheel on it - it was simple to assemble. There were instructions included in the package, although not very well written. The first thing I did was lubricate the large Acme screw, then I bolted it onto my hub (4x100) and checked to see if it cleared my caliper without using the provided spacers, and it did. The red wheel has ball bearings in it and seems to be very dense and had a smooth surface. The red knobs on the handle of the tool seem a little cheap but they did their job of keeping the handle from falling off. The nylock nut on the end of the Acme screw came off one time while I was using the tool, but I reinstalled it and it didn't come off again. This was my first time rolling fenders, so my fender rolling job did not come out perfect, but it was good enough. I already have a heat gun, so I heated up the area I was working as I went. I still managed to crack paint in a few areas - oh well. I'll go slower and use more heat next time. I removed the fender liner, all plastic inserts from the back of the fender, and wire brushed the inside of the lip before rolling. On the first fender I wasn't very careful rolling over the metal tabs where the plastic inserts clip in, and that fender came out with some waves around the lip, but I think I can massage those out. The second fender came out much smoother as I was very attentive to what part of the fender I was actually rolling.I put a before/after pic above to show how much I ended up rolling the fender.I would recommend this tool to someone who is looking for a budget friendly fender roller, but I would caution that you need a heat gun as well, and be prepared for it to not look perfect if you don't know what your're doing (like me).

If your car is really low, don’t buy
I was hoping that I was gonna put this to good use, which I did for a moment. I was able to roll my front fenders, but when it came to the rear the roller simply didn’t retract short enough to put it in between the fender and wheel hub. I was disappointed, but for what it cost and how fast I got it, it speaks for itself.

Worked well for the price
Worked well for the price. Construction is sturdy and I could see this being used multiple times, though I only needed it for one car. Only issue is there is a nut that will back off as you turn the handle to apply pressure to the fender. When it backs off it stops putting force on fender and needs to be replaced. Even though it is a nylon lock nut it still backs off and becomes looser with each use. I eventually tack welded it, if you don’t have a welder maybe some thread lock before first use may prevent this.

Very loose tolerances, kinda sloppy.
Easy to put together but no matter how tight you assemble bolts and nuts the whole assemble is just sloppy to use. As you roll it backs off on its own and usually have to basically holder roller as you roll or keep tightening each roll. If you are going to roll fenders a lot DO NOT BUY THIS ONE, not worth fighting but for a single use this is a good tool.

Works
Works good had to shorten the throw on the arm and weld the nut on the arm to tighten it

Good tool first time using one and worked well
I give it a 4star because screwing parts were tight some lithium grease helped and it came apart as I was using it didnt break just unscrewed and went back together Bolt pattern 4x100 fit great. Worked ok on my car my coilovers were low so I had to use in the fully collapsed position and it barely fit. If I raised the suspension all the way up it would probably have worked alot better. This was my first time ever rolling a render and it worked great. Happy with overall performance.

Not for lowered cars
Decent product. The arm is just too long for cars that are lowered. Got the job done 50%

Don't be afraid to buy this roller instead of eastwood
I was skeptical buying this at about half price if the eastwood brand roller. Lots of the reviews stated missing/ breaking parts. Before I even using it. I treated all the threads on it with silicone spray lubricant as well as some silicone grease. I have never rolled fenders before. But rolling my 2012 nc miata( lug pattern 5x114.3) fenders was relatively easy. Use a heat gun, it softens the metal and ensures you won't Crack paint. My miata is lowered on meister r coilovers, this made getting the very last bit of the fender by the doors impossible. But a some heat and the deadblow hammer mad it no problem I have been working on cars professionally/ personally for ten years. This is a good tool. Like most complex tools it requires some up keep. Keep the threads lubricated. Take your time, watch YouTube videos if you are unsure. I haven't used an eastwood roller before but there isn't anything I wish this one did that it doesn't. Possibly a shorter arm to accommodate smaller wheel wells on Lower cars. But that's nit picking.
