Chickens were born to scratch and peck, and that's exactly what they do at White Oak Pastures. Our pastured poultry are the final step in the Serengeti Rotational Grazing model we utilize on our farm. The birds roam completely unconfined in our pastures, foraging for bugs and grubs in the soil, and are also offered a non-GMO grain supplement. Our chickens are also a Step 5+ in the Global Animal Partnership, Certified Humane and Animal Welfare Approved.
