Good, sturdy toolbox.
I liked the metal bail on the hasp, toolboxes always get more put in them than you expect to, so stronger features are always appreciated. Function-wise, it is as easy to use as any toolbox, opening, closing, carrying, all quite satisfactory. I’ve taken to buying toolboxes in different colors so I don’t have to open a bunch of identical boxes to find the one I need. This comes in different colors, so I’ve got that covered. The fact this has a flat top for stacking makes it indispensable.

Toolbox perspective
Bought as a toolbox to house a bunch of extra drill bits, drivers, socket bits and so on. Essentially, a bunch of extra stuff that aren’t part of my usual daily bag . As such it’s a garage box that’s still mobile and see-through, not a “get-beat-up-everyday” box.ProsVery good hinges (can never say enough about this with plastic boxes)Durable (within reason)Somewhat see-throughConsNone for meInner dimensions below.(variances are accounting for inner molding as seen in pics):Length at bottom: 12.5 - 12.75”Length at top: 12.75 - 13.75”If specifics are a concern, assume 12.5” for entire inner lower-box.Depth at bottom: 5.5-6.25”If specifics are a concern, assume 5.5” for entire inner lower-box.Height(Not exactly straight forward when getting to the lid area as this is where there would be uneven “mushing” space)Inner Lower-box: 5 11/16” or 5.6875”Inner Lid: 1 - 1 11/16 or 1.6875”Effectively, inner height is anywhere from 6.6875 - 7.366”Weight tolerances- It’s currently holding 14 lbs of tools very comfortably and without concern.- 25 lb dumbbell: it held, but lid very visibly strained. Would not move it around this way, probably not even store this weight.- 20 lb dumbbell: holds decently, but would not subject to a lot of wild movement or banging around.- Anything sub 18 lbs should not be of any concern at all, even if moved aggressively. (This is not to say being tossed over a tailgate into a truck.)As a lightweight, see-through (sort of), fast-grab box, this works well for what I needed. Great hinges. Hope the measurements help.

Sturdy and holds a lot
I use toolboxes to store all sorts of things. Most of the time I don't use the removable trays. I just pile stuff to the brim. I have 2 of these toolboxes and they have worked well. They happen to be just the right size for part of my storage area.

Perfect for son’s toy tools
This would be sufficient for a substantial first aid kit or a basic tool set. I bought it bc my son’s toy tool collection is out of control and this feels very “real” for him. We had to practice using the latch a few times so he wouldn’t pinch his fingers- the latch is made of metal, but he has been fine since we did it a few times together. Well made!

Perfect for a hobbyist
This is a small but spacious toolbox. It's perfect for as an emergency box or even just to carry tools in your car. It's nice and light but also ridged enough to withstand it being used. It comes with an insert that makes finding screwdrivers and small tools quickly.

The "tray" has a giant hole in its center
Overall, it's a reasonable small toolbox. Plenty of capacity, seems well built. Akro-Mills tends to build solid stuff. Don't know how durable this will turn out to be, but the latch is metal, not plastic, and I fond no "living hinges", so it bodes well for durability. That's the good stuff out of the way. I wanted a toolbox with a tray, for the little stuff that doesn't need to rattle around in the bottom with the heavier tools. This is one of the few smaller toolboxes I could find, with a removable tray...which, unfortunately, has a large hole in its center. Now, I understand why that hole has to be there...it's a consequence of the molding process they used to make it. That is a reason, but not an excuse, for this abysmally poor design. As I expected, the slight lip around the hole in the tray does not prevent objects in it from falling down into the main tool box at the slightest jolt. After a day of this, I glued up a better tray, without a hole in the middle, out of 1/4" plywood. It took me an hour, cost me nothing, because I used a small scrap I had on hand, and it works far better than Akro-Mills' abysmal attempt.I would encourage Akro-Mills to redesign that tray. Because it's pretty useless as storage for smaller items as it is. Other than that, this is a great toolbox for the price.
