Van Staal6" Titanium Pliers Kit with Lanyard and Sheath

Excellent pliers, I could not wish for better.

Best fishing pliers I have ever owned. Well worth the money. Abel beat to hell in 2 years and too difficult to change the cutters. Ross, good little pliers but just didn't stand up for the long universal use of fishing/backpacking. Simms, too big, too bulky, didn't cut nor grip for nothing. Van Staal, light, cuts like a dream through twigs, wire, hooks, 7x tippet, paracord, anything. Still standing up, even after being run over by a truck and landed on during a nasty spill down a rock wall. Love em.

Incorrect measurements listed in description, really heavy. Feels odd in hand and line cutters out of alignment.

These are rock solid fishing pliers that hopefully will last a lifetime. Price was over the top. Caught me at a weak moment.

This is my 3rd purchase of these high quality pliers. Not because they wear out, I give them out to my crew. Expensive, worth every penny. How many items are really worth the $$ you spend? These are.

These are the best fresh water fishing pliers available. I really like them and I know they'll last a lifetime.

I recently purchased this pair of Van Staal pliers to replace a pair of Accurates that had gone overboard. I have a Donnmar Checkpoint, which I absolutely love, but wanted to try the VS, since they are so highly rated. The Accurate pliers were very good, but the manufacturer had stopped supplying replacement cutting jaws, so their lifetime usefulness was limited. When they went overboard, I decided to try the Van Staals. My first reaction was that they seemed too small in my hand. They work well enough, but really do not feel as comfortable as the old Accurate, and nowhere near as comfortable as the Donnmars. I also, personally, prefer the cutting jaws to be inline with the gripping jaws, rather on the side, as with the Accurate's and VS.
