Great lighting used for a room with lights on the walls. The pictures featuring the product was perfect especially the exact measurements assured fitment for the light I used them in. I provided pictures of before (old style 500w halogen) and after because I was so please. The energy savings are also a big key factor. Thank you!

This item is compact and fitted into our tight spaced flood light. While not as thin as a halogen lamp R7s type, there was enough space. A previous purchase of another R7s item was too fat and while it was also a r7s, we couldnt close the glass down to make a water tight seal. Here, the light gives out similar level of power to the halogen ones we replaced with great power savings. 10W versus 100W.

Works as advertised. I replaced my expensive halogen bulb with some other LED bulbs that flashed/flickered and had very harsh white light. These don't flash/flicker and they have a much softer yellow light.

I was worried about the girth and whether it would fit inside the lamp's hood. No problem at all with room to spare. It dims very smoothly and when full on gives off the same warm light that the halogen bulb produced. It is perhaps a little bit dimmer than the 100w halogen bulb it replaced, but I never turned that one full up because it was too bright for use in a desk lamp. I noticed the seller has downgraded the "equivalent" rating from 100w to 80w, which is probably more accurate. This one is perfect. We'll see how long it lasts.

Used these LEDs to replace a 4 x 100W halogen bulb bathroom vanity. Replaced just one to start with. The LED was just a bright as the other halogen bulbs. Color is a tiny bit cooler that the halogens but almost imperceptible. The offset design is nice for replacing low clearance halogen bulbs. In my case I needed to remove the safety shield that covered the halogen bulb during operation, but it's not needed for LEDs. Just have to wait to see how long these bulbs last. So far, so good.

These bulbs are listed as 80W equivalents, but they are really more like a "good" 50W equivalent. Obviously they are also somewhat "chunky", so make sure you have enough space for them.They dim very well with Lutron dimmers.Pros:- DimmableCons:- Chunky- Run a bit hot- Really only about a 50W equivalent.Recommendation: Not a bad choice, but don't expect 100W Halogen performance.

Is it as bright as the original halogen bulb? No.It is more than bring enough for residential applications mounted less than 15 feet above ground level. If you are using it higher, like stadium lights, then you will definitely notice that the total lumen output is lower.It will not be damaged by frequent cycling on & off.It will not be damaged by skin oil that you accidentally get on it while installing it.It is far less likely to cause a fire simply by operating normally; 10 watts of total power dissipation for this LED bulb (a good portion of which is light only) versus 75~80 watts for the OEM halogen bulb which is basically all heat.

They are a little fat for my application which was a lamp over a dinning room table. They fit but were very snug. Dimmer option works as it should. I have since removed them and went back to a normal bulb because they light was not bright enough for the L shaped room with white painted walls. Might be fine for a hall wall light but a larger area will need something with a high lumen rating.

It was great replacement with our old 100watts bulb. It is bit dim because it is 45watts equivalent. The photo shows two middle ones with 100w old bulbs and the outer two with the product. Not much different on the photo but you will notice when you try to see something small under the light. (Bit difficult to see because of less light). However the warmth is almost same and great product.

I compared these LEDs to the Philips of the same type. The Philips are 2X the price, but about 10 times the quality. The problems:1-They do NOT output light like a 100W halogen. The Philips does, these are much weaker;2-They flicker. This might not be much of a problem if you use them outside or in some industrial setting, but in someone's house, this is bad. The flicker is visible.I'm returning them and getting the Philips. This is not a quality product.

I purchased 4 of these bulbs in September. By January all the bulbs have fused. The descriptions says they last up to 30,000 hours, not even close. The warranty is 90 days so when I called seller that was the line they use. Be very careful when buying from them.

I have two of these to replace type Q halogens in a bathroom fixture. These lights are off 90% of the time, as it is a bathroom. One died after 8 months, which is far too short for a ~$10 LED bulb.Edit: Down to 1 star. The second bulb just died. So $20+tax for two LED bulbs that lasted 8 months in a bathroom, mostly off. Nah. You can do better.Upon inspection of the dead bulbs, looks like some of the SMD LEDs are popped and presumably shorting. Probably the rectifier inside failed.

Was concerned that fit might not work, but if you take out the heat shield it fits fine. These are cool running so heat shield was unnecessary (in my humble, non-electrian opinion - your a grown up, figure out what works safely for your situation). Fairly bright, but with a cool-blue tint. Have only had for 2 months so can not speak to durability or longevity but fingers-crossed they work for a long time.
