Load Cell 1KG AD Amplifier HX711 Breakout Board Portable Kitchen Scale Weight Sensor Module Weighing for Arduino Raspberry Pi

First time using this type of sensor and it works really well.

The unit works fine as it is - connected to a Teensy it seems to be good and works as expected.The wires are very thin and delicate, and prone to breaking.However, the big problem comes when trying to switch the rate from 10 to 80Hz. This is done by connecting pin 15 to high rather than ground. The pin is there on the chip, but it's connected straight to ground. You need to desolder it, lift the pin, make a bridge to pin 15 (which is already high), and then check like mad that you didn't connect anything you shouldn't, or fail to break that connection to ground. I found it pretty tricky.There are other variants of this that expose this (important) functionality in a straightforward way - I really can't understand why this hasn't been done here. If buying again, I'd get one of those, and not this.Edit: In spite of doing the above carefully - initially it worked, but then the unit became unreliable, presumably because of the adjustment (perhaps soldering so close to the chip).

Unit didn't work. I have a 3kg unit from the same supplier that works fine. The circuit did not respond to load, hence concluded there must be a fault with one of the strain gauges on the loadcell itself

Does not work at all.tried most of the ways, the circuit is so sensitive that needs to be in certain position to get some reading

Fonctionne parfaitement, j'en ai acheté plusieurs après avoir fait un test avec le premier, complètement satisfait.

Produit incomplet pas d'amplificateur hx711, inutilisable!....
