Lovely sound and good quality

I received this today, the bag is off a good standard and the material will last.It is a lovely instrument. Good finish on the tines and wood and it was fully tuned to c so tht was great. You do get everything pictured and the sound is clear and bright. The book that comes with it has no music in it for you to learn to play but I did have one years ago so I did know some music to play on it. A bit disappointed that there isn't even the classic nursery rhyme etc to start you off with. My advice is to buy a basic book on here when you buy this so you have something to start with. YouTube's got lots of content as well as a starting point.Kept the kids and us entertained all afternoon trying to play it and by the end they were doing well playing twinkle twinkle. Very much worth the price, good fun and we do recommend.

Bought this for a 6 year old who like to tinker away on a key board and glockenspiel.She has no musical training and plays from ear with the odd bit of help.The Kalimba has a very nice gentle tone.As it came tuned I have no experience of having to tune any if the tines.It is tuned to C and anyone can play it.If you have any experience with piano it obviously helps, however it takes a bit of getting used to playing left then right then left of middle C to play the scale and then figure out how to play your desired tune.Time and patience alone required and since the sound is so beautiful even the bum notes are pleasant.You have to painstakingly peel away the clear, sticky letters/numbers that use tidy the notes and apply them with care.A tweezers did the job for me.This Kalimba is great. I like the carrier bag for protection and to keep the tuner and the thumb picks safe.Regarding the thumb picks - they are fine for adult thumbs but not for my 6 year old.Slightly longer thumb nails save the skin😁

Well this instrument is pretty.The bag came damaged on a side, the ring wasn’t there and the thread was loose, but at least the instrument is totally ok. It came red, I didn’t ask for that colour, I though I asked for wooden plain colour, but it’s pretty so I don’t mind... thankfully it wasn’t green... I’m not sure if I would purchase it again, if I have to give a present I’m not sure the right colour will arrive and that the bag won’t be a bit damaged. But for personal fun, it’s everything fine to me honestly.I have pictures to witness it, but I don’t know how to upload them.

I am so happy I purchased this kalimba!! The sound is beautiful and the body is very solid. It comes with all the necessary accessories and it is very easy to learn how to play by using youtube videos/ tutorials. It's a lovely instrument for someone who wants to learn an easy instrument in their spare time :) I would definitely recommend it!

My son is thrilled with this, he is very musical and excited that it can be tuned to play properly.

Bought as a gift and the recipient was thrilled! All the accessories were great too, carrying case, thumb protectors, hammer, etc. Very pleased.

As i like to collect unusual instruments this was a very good find. I can take it anywhere and practice whenever i like. it is a talking piece with friends and strangers alike as it encourages people to talk to each. excellent quality and tone for what i wanted. good carry case too.
