Kurt Adler UL 10-Light Hanukkah Star of David Light Set

These are good quality lights, just as you would expect to put outside your house, and each bulb is covered with a sturdy plastic white and blue megen David (star of David). They light up brightly and there were no issues with either light. The only draw back is that there are only 10 stars, making the entirely of the light string about 6 feet or so. This isn't a whole lot. You would need several of these in order to really fully decorate even a small apartment porch for Hanukkah. Furthermore the distance between the plug and first star is only about a foot--if you plan on hanging this stars high (as I did, at the top of a window), be prepared for extension cords. If there was a longer set of lights I would love that option.The other major drawback is that despite the stars being blue and white, the cord itself is green. This is typical of Christmas lights, especially if used on a Christmas tree, but not many people have green houses/porches, or green anything if they are decorating for Hanukkah. It would be much better to have a white cord, or even a neutral gray or black. Having a green cord is good if you are an interfaith family and wish to put these on your "Chrismukkah" tree, but again, they aren't long enough to really decorate any decent sized tree (so buy several to string together).In summary, a sturdy string of lights that lights brightly. Good as a quirky novelty or a small indoor Hanukkah decoration, but expect to buy several for any *real* or outside decoration. Cord is green, so plan accordingly. Be sure you have extension cords or expect to be severely limited by your home's placement of outlets.

A bit larger than I was expecting but I would order them again. My friend and I loved them. I would give them for Hanakkah gifts as well. I could also see them being used as a Sukka decoration. Just thinking...Lots and lots of fun...

Works fine. Looks a little cheap, and the light lights up the center, not the edges, so from a distance they like Christmas lights, and are only recognizable as Hanukkah lights when you get pretty close.

These are really cute! The only thing I do not like is they just are not that long pretty short. Still does not take away from a 5 star though. I bought them for my mantle. If you are planning on putting them outside you will have to buy several.

Nice and bright. The pkastuc stars fall off a bit too easily.

I love these lights. We hung them up inside the house and they were perfect.
