42 Quart DC12V 24V AC 110V Portable car Fridge Freezer with Both Refrigerator Zone and Freezer Zone

We purchased this on a recommendation from a friend; it arrived 3 weeks before the early summer trip, and has worked well since. It keeps items very cold and also keeps items cold for an extended period without power. We used in our Van for few days and it’s easy to use when you mobile, it works well when we use at home. Overall it’s a happy purchase.

After not even a full 2 months it's already stopped getting cold. I'll admit while it was working it was great.I also want to add that since I first uploaded my review I was contacted by the folks at Skadi. They tried telling me that my battery was low and that's why my fridge won't work. I drive an 18 Wheeler and can guarantee at no point during my travels across the country do my batteries get low. I have a dc to ac powder inverter and on top of that auto start/stop. They refuse to acknowledge the fact that they are selling a cheap product that is horribly overpriced.

I bought for transporting fridge food in car then to use in travel trailer. Like many made-in-china products, Instruction manual is almost nonexistent. How to operate controls are pure guess work. After figuring out setting temperature, didn’t cool anywhere near demanded, but displayed that that demanded temperature was achieved. I used a thermometer to confirm this. Default is in Celsius which you can change. That was one of the few things the manual included although hard to find. Allowed to chill 24hrs. Prior to use. Freezer portion never reached freezing temp.

For the price of the unit, the quality is low in our opinion. The unit looks and feels "cheap", the trim was not in the best quality, and the unit arrived with a damaged power input (which I fixed). We used the unit for a few hours indoors and immediately noted that the compressor began clicking an unusual sound during the cool down stage. My instinct tells me that the compressor is probably going to fail in an unreasonably short period of time. Unfortunately we cannot return the unit due to the gas (assuming the refrigerant here) is flammable. Amazon did make it right for us but I caution others to explore more reliable or quality-built units that may be on the market. My wife and I will be exploring units that are more commonly found in big rigs and long haul vehicles.

Love it! Just make sure you get the one for the primary preferred use. Refrigerator or freezer. The primary has the lager compartment and the 2nd compartment is smaller.

Never worked properly. Does not cool to the temp. Can’t get it to cool below 50 degrees. Buy a better brand.
