Five Stars
Works perfectly, 5GHz really helps in an apartment with a crowded 2.4GHz spectrum.

Absolute trash.
It would be difficult to accurately go into just how terrible this product is without sounding hyperbolic, so I won't even bother. But for the record, let me just say that all the positive reviews are fake and the people who have posted them are awful, lying, soulless individuals in business to make amazon just a little bit worse for the rest of us.

Great Keyboard that doesn't lose connectivity!
I have tried so many keyboards on my HTPC...I sit probably 8' away from my PC, but none of the wireless 2.4Ghz keyboards had a good connection, so I searched for a 5Ghz keyboard, and this was the only one I could find...finally, this one works great! I did not buy from Amazon, I got it on Ebay, but this keyboard is great so far.If I have one complaint, and it's minor, it's just that it simply doesn't have an edge, so it can be hard to manipulate on the couch...but with that said, I have typed this entire review from my couch, with it sitting on my lap, and it hasn't missed a single key stroke.Love it so far!2 finger scrolling, 2 finger tap for right click, lots of multi-touch gestures on the mouse pad...just overall a great keyboard.Oh...it looks amazing also!

Needed a Long Distance Keyboard
So, I was using a wireless logitech keyboard (mk320) and the range was awful. The box advertised a range of 30 feet but I was barely getting 8 feet. I live in an apartment so I could be getting interference from any number of things, but compared to other wireless devices I have, the keyboard was awful. So, I went searching for a 5GHz keyboard.Logitech does not offer anything in the 5GHz range (that I could find anyway) and I was not even sure, at that time, that 5GHz would be the solution to my problem. Maybe Logitech had just made a terrible keyboard and my good will for Logitech was keeping me from putting the blame on that company. Luckily, there exists one keyboard that fit my criteria. The Rapoo E9180P.I was weary because, yeah, it does ship from China. Although, if you check other resources on the internet, you can get it shipped within the US in less than a week. But, for me, I was worried about overall quality. I had never heard of this company, the actual reviews for this company's products are almost non-existent, and it was coming straight from China. Honestly though, this keyboard is everything it advertises it to be.Range: Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than my previous Logitech keyboard. Sitting on the couch 8 feet away from the receiver and my Logitech keyboard is a real pain in the ass. For the E9180P, sitting on the couch was no problem. Then I put a pillow on top of the keyboard and it still kept a connection. Then, I went and sat a room away and the keyboard still kept a connection. Following this, I sat on my couch and went through a half hour of TypeRacer [...]. I had no dropped keys or laggy input. I will also say, again, I do not know if the 5GHz vs 2.4GHz actually made the difference or if this keyboard just has better range in general. I can say, from tests, that there is a definite reduction of interference in the signal.Keys: They're laptop keys. Personally, I love the way a laptop keyboard feels. The keys do go down a bit further when you press them, but otherwise it's pretty standard laptop feel. Now, there is no spacing between the keys, but the keys are larger to compensate. From the half hour of typeracer I did play, some of that time was spent getting used to the spacing of the keys. But otherwise, the feel of the keyboard is something I enjoy.Trackpad: It's a basic trackpad. I've heard complaints of people's sleeves touching the pad and activating the mouse and other accidents but I have not run into that problem just yet. I can see how it would be possible but I think in the long run, it will not be a major issue. Otherwise, it can do one finger tap to left click, two finger tap to right click, and two finger scroll. They also designate the bottom left of the trackpad to left click and the bottom right to right click. Meaning, the bottom of the trackpad is not for scrolling and only for clicking. I find that feature to get in the way more-so but still pretty manageable.Build: This is a solid keyboard. It's compact and yet still packs features. Perfect size for long distance HTPC use and still serviceable as a desk keyboard. It has metal backing which provides a sturdy backbone for the keyboard. Comes with a stand built in so it angles up when you lie it flat. Well thought out.Overall: It's great. It's really what I was looking for in a compact keyboard. I have not noticed any flaws in the actual feature set of the product so I think as long as you understand what this keyboard is, you should not be disappointed in the product. I feel like any common complaints would come from the design of the keyboard rather than the keyboard malfunctioning.Edit: September 5th, 2014:Still going strong. Reception is still great. Long term complaints? No backlighting. It's not advertised so I wouldn't take any stars off, but I use this keyboard a lot in a darkened room. It's minor but it's the only shortcoming that bugs me.Edit: February 4th, 2015:This keyboard is still great! I've dropped it a dozen times and have stepped on this thing a bunch. Really durable. Not having a backlight was so annoying that I eventually bought keyboard key stickers that are light reflective to help me see the keys in the dark. Otherwise this is one hell of a keyboard.

Ships by steamboat from China
I ordered this item on 07/02/20013 and the order confirmation (which I totally ignored at first) states that estimated delivery is 08/14/2013 (that's a month and a half). Well, since the steamboat has already left Guangzhou, I'll just wait a month...
