My son, who is 33 with severe autism, has used several different kinds of swing stand. This is one of the best. He wore one out after 5 years of outdoor use, so this is the replacement. My onlu complaint is that the plastic handles on the bolts often break and fall off, leaving a bolt that has to be turned with pliers. Byer does respond quickly with free replacements.

Stable and safe

I purchased this stand to go with my hammock chair and was disappointed to find that the holes on the stand were mis-drilled. For such an expensive stand, I would expect quality and attention to detail in the construction. I've been able to make do with the stand as it is and I like the fact that it is adjustable in regards to height but it is hard to get past the constructions issues. Also, one of the knobs on the screws broke off shortly after I put the stand together.The stand is also very large, so keep that in mind when ordering.On the plus side, the stand is durable and can hold a lot of weight.
