Army Painter 1134 - acrylic paint for painting soft tone ink

Although I use a mix of both Army Painter and Vallejo paints on my figures, I had some real problems in the past with Vallejo inks/washes. Some had a regular habit of frosting - even with the most careful of applications. So I tired Army Painter Washes and (to date) I've never had the same problem. While Vallejo may have changed their mix since, I've felt no reason to go back. AP Washes work well, mix together well, and are a recommended addition to any model-painters set.

A great product, that needs to be in every minature painters tool kit. Allows for great shading that the pros achieve but us mere mortals struggle to get. This soft shade is suitable to use on a variety of surfaces but I bought it to shade the flesh on my minatures, but also to dirty up the armour as well.Army Painter is one of the top makes and this shows as a quality product, comes in a bottle that has a dropper top allowing you to control how much product you use and so stopping the dreaded drying out. I won't buy paint now that doesn't come in this style if bottle.Company sent the product out quickly and packaged well.

Excellent wash for minis painting. This has been perfect for painting over my white base coat for my Echo Base troopers for stars war legion.

Excellent product

Painted a few fantasy miniatures with this. I have seen it used by painters on youtube, and many blogs who use it for quick army painting. I chose the soft tone as I do not like overly garish shading on my models. The wash works well, brings out detail, but it is very dark for an overall wash for my liking. After washing I lost any highlighting that was applied, and had to go over again with my base layer and re-highlight. Next time I will wash after base coating and highlight on top, this may work out as a quicker and better end result. Overall happy with the product, does as it says, and can definitely be used to bring quick shading to mass painted minis. I would not use this for a character model.

Very versatile shading paint for a beginner painter

Item as described, well packaged, good paint!

I used this for a softer weathering effect for some Star Wars Armada ships to show they had been in planetary operations. The larger ships have had it applied as well as a rusting effect, the flotilla squadron in the attached pic has not.

Grande prodotto...riporta le ombre dove servono, un po' di pratica è necessaria ma nulla di così impossibile da gestire...spedito nudo e crudo senza imballi protettivi.

Recently bought some Bolt Action figures and watched some tutorials on youtube. So I ordered Army Painter. Yes it's great stuff. True colors which directly cover the area, not too thick either, just perfect.

Purtroppo non mi è piaciuto applicandolo sui modelli, ma la army painter è una azienda valida.
