2012 Audi s4
This fits my budget. I have a 2012 Audi S4 with the MMI 3rd generation. Plug and play, no need for external power to power up the Bluetooth and once my phone is sync in, it automatically sync in going in and out of my car, I can control the volume from my steering wheel but I can’t control the music forward or reverse, I have to use my phone for that which is not a big deal. All I care is that it plays my music from my phone at a reasonable price with good quality.

No device support on iPhone. BT is somewhat buggy, but on par with similar devices.
I bought this to replace a CoolStream CarPro. The main thing to know is that the CoolStream uses the ipod aux cable and will present any iOS device to the MMC as an "ipod". That means you can do things like use the MMC interface to choose and control music, but it also does stupid things like always automatically starting your music from the first song (alphabetically) on your iOS device. This device presents any BT source as an AUX device to the MMC -- like it was plugged in to a headphone jack. There's no control and no information from the device on the MMC. On the up side, I don't have to hear The A Team by Ed Sheeran every time I start the car.Similar to the CoolStream, having the iPhone connected to both this BT device and the MMC's BT telephone interface can cause interference. It seems to mostly skip and pop as the iPhone gains or loses cell signal. It is not as bad of a problem as on the CoolStream. I also had this happen with an Android device, so I think it is just unavoidable -- too much RF in a small space.

Seems to work well
We just got an Audi Q7 and were unable to find an adapter anywhere in a store so I tried this one. I ordered it new, but when it came it had lots of scratches and was scuffed up a lot. I contacted customer service and they offered a small refund, not a huge deal. I appreciate they offered to remedy it even a little bit. As for hooking it up, it was very easy and worked within a few minutes. I have yet to connect my iPod to it along with my phone but am sure it will work just fine. I would buy this again, it seems to be the best one to use.

Works great for 2011 Audi Q7!
I have an Audi Q7 2011 that has the AMI plug. Connected this device in less than 30 seconds. Does not need an additional power supply at least for my Audi. It’s hidden in the glove compartment and connects automatically each time I turn the car on. When I get a phone call it automatically switches to the car Bluetooth for the phone call and switches back to this when call is finished. I researched it a lot on Amazon, and was skeptical given only two reviews, this I’m putting a review to help others. Now I don’t have to listen to my Spotify music through headphones but can attest to the car, great!!

Cheap product, beware
Cheap plastic aspectI checked the instruction manual and it has a streaming device with several buttons, but the one I received is different, it only has one button on the top.I accidentally bought a product that doesn't work on my vehicle so can't comment on the sound quality.

Arrived in pieces (but taped up!)
Bought one from the amazon warehouse. Got it — it was in pieces, altho someone did a hack tape job on it. Seriously Amazon? I expect more.

Plays media from my phone on my 2010 Audi
You need to turn the radio volume up higher than usual, but the sound quality is good and it usually connects automatically. Occasionally it doesn't connect automatically and I have to open my phone's bluetooth and click on it.
