Natural Sea Wool Sponge 5-6" Natural Renewable Resource Bath & Shower

I have never used a natural sea sponge before purchasing this. I liked that the price was reasonable and I knew I would be getting a quality product not something from over seas that I assumed was a sponge so I gave it a try. It has a very smooth and luxurious feel to it. It does not exfoliate but is very gentle to your skin. The size is small so if you have small hands or children this would be good to use for them. It seemed like a quality sponge that would hold up to numerous shower experiences. I personally prefer a larger sponge so I would get the larger one next time but that is a personal decision and has nothing to do with the quality of the sponge itself. If your new to sponges and grossed out by plastic puffs this is a great sponge to go with.

This is my first time trying one of these. Only used it once so far. I let it saturate in my shower mister before applying soap. Nice texture. Feels soft and durable and just slightly scratchy. So much nicer than the plasticy lather builder, which I'm not going back to. At first I didn't think it was going to build lather well, but after using it a minute is started to produce. I'm sure being a natural product I will have to be careful with handling, especially dry, but it's a far better experience and just feels right. The reviews suggest your mileage may vary, but so far it's a vast improvement for me. If it lasts I will be glad I bought a sustainable American product from real Florida. If it doesn't it's still a better experience if too expensive to replace regularly.Update: after a few months it started to fall apart a little every shower. It seems like the problem is the edge where the blade went through. That side has larger holes, meaning less material is holding it together. That side is also less scratchy. I'm not sure if it's falling apart because it fully dries, or gets wet too often.

Received both my sponges the other day - the natural sea sponge and the wool sea sponge. Both were nice and large - the outer dimensions of the measurements given - very pleased with size. I have used both sponges one time so far - and really enjoyed them. I am having no trouble so far with tearing or shredding, etc. Just lovely, lovely sponges! BTW, I did order the body wash, lotion and body scrub about 6 weeks ago and LOVE these products. My skin has never felt smoother (especially with the use of the sponge) nor looked clearer than with her products. Plus, the scent is mid yet really pleasant. Highly recommend this seller and products!

The 100% Natural Sea Sponge is a nice sponge. It is a high quality sponge. However, it is still a little on the expensive side. That being said, the sponges are preferred as they are easier on the skin. It is 6" at its widest point which is pictured below. It is also nice and thick. This sponge is not as soft as my last natural sea sponge and both sides seem to be identical as far as that goes. Due to this issue, my skin does not feel as refreshed after a shower. My last natural sea sponge improved the feel of my skin immediately after using it. I do not get that benefit from this one. Differences may rest in the size of the sea sponge or perhaps where it was harvested. This 100% Natural Sea Sponge is harvested in the Gulf of Mexico.My last sea sponge lasted at least three months. I hope to get the same wear out of this one. (That makes one feel better about the cost.) At nearly two weeks, it shows no wear at all. It is also easy to freshen the natural sea sponge in a baking soda bath. It cleans them right up and gives them more life span. All in all, it is a good product.

The Good: The quality of the sponge appears to be very good. A lot of sponges available from Amazon sellers are low quality.The Bad: The description says that this sponge is 5-6". At it's widest points it is 4-3/4"x4"x2". It rapidly tappers down from there. It is a bit larger than the palm of my hand x 2" at it's thickest. $14 is a bit steep for a small sponge.

I have been using natural sponges for decades. Difficult to find them in stores anymore. Size of this one is good and as described. Not as soft as my previous one but probably after some time it will soften more. It's already showing signs that it will split but that is the nature of natural sponges. Overall it's a good sponge.

I bought one about 9 months ago. I had bought a new pair of jeans and I washed them before I wore them however I still had blue for on my skin. I ended up turning my old sponge blue from the dye of my jeans. This sponge is soft and lasts a long time provided you take care of it, I did and this sponge served me well. When my sponge started to break apart i got a new one. I have a skin disorder and only these types of sponges treat my skin with kindness and care.I always rinse out my sponge after I use it in the shower, I always allow it to dry, I always wet it before I add my shower wash. These natural sponges have made bathing so nice for my body.

For myself love it

Use this beautiful sponge and find out. Once it's wet you'll be able to pick up the faint aroma of the sea. It's a gentle mixture of salt and sea breezes. The sponge is nice and large and feels gorgeous on the skin. Feels good to use something natural. And boy, I love enjoying the earthy aroma of the beach in the shower.Great product. May seem pricey at first, but if looked after properly the sponge can last a long time.

These are hard to find in the larger size so I’m happy with my purchase
